Sophie sat silently reading her book about magical creatures. She was totally absorbed in it when she was shaken from her concentration by someone new...

Grace had just sat down across from a slytherin girl and begun to flap loudly through the pages when she realized she was desturbing the girls quiet. She stopped flapping and looked apologetically at the girl and mouthed, "sorry."

Sophie lowered her book and smiled "no problems" she whispered back. She saw that the girl seemed to be desperate to find something "are you looking for something? anything i can help you with?" she asked.

Grace smiled at the girl in front of her. "Well if you can help me with figuring what on earth is going on in ancient runes and what Fehu is, then yeah, I guess you could help." Grace was being totally sarcastic, of course but did actually hope she would be able to help.

Sophie giggled "sorry no can do" she sighed "i've always been useless at ancient ruins!'" She closed her book and started to draw on a piece of yellow card.

Grace smiled. "Neither have I," she admitted. She too closed her book, "I'm not even going to bother! I'm totally useless!" She propped her elbow on the table and rested her chin in her palm, gazing at Sophie's doodle.
