Keifer walked out to the lake with Brandon eventually finding somewhere to sit. He smiled as he looked out to the lake and waited for Brandon. "Well.. this is it"

Brandon looked at the lake in awe, before turning back to Keifer. "Its- it's pretty huge!" he said before looking towards it once more. "Have you ever met one of the merpeople? I mean, I had read Hogwarts: A History, and they did mention that merpeople lived in the lake." He leaned over just a little, as if he would be able to see one.

"We've had quite the interesting experience with the merpeople, haven't we Keifer" L.C said laughing as she walked to them. She had heard the boy ask, and didn't think it was such a good idea to find another on.

Keifer laughed at Brandon and put his hand on his shoulder. He heard L.C's voice and spun around. Oops... "Squids... Merpeople..." He looked at Brandon "I was nearly made fish food... And yeah, the lake is huge and very cool... I'd go swimming in it if i wasnt terrified the squid would try making me its meal again" He didnt look at L.C, he kept his gaze on the lake, every now and again his gaze turned to Brandon. He mentally slapped himself, but he couldnt help it.

L.C looked at Keifer strangely as he put his hand on Brandon's shoulder. Keifer wouldn't look her in the eye, something was definetly up. You could tell she was suspicious by the look on her face. "Umm... anything you'd like to talk about Keif?" she aked nervous voice but you could hear a bit of anger in it to.

Keifer took his hand off Brandon's shoulder and looked over the lake. Shaking his head he stayed silent "...". He looked at Brandon and smiled but his gaze drifted down to the floor.

Brandon stared at L.C, before looking back at Keifer, noting his discomfort. "You know, I've always wondered what the merpeople look like face-to-face." He paused, trying to relieve some tension. Coughing slightly, he ran a hand through his hair. "You know, Keifer and I weren't expecting company..." He trailed off, "I don't know if we really wanted it either."

He looked at Brandon and smiled. He walked back over to him and stayed stood next to him looking into the lake. He kept thinking he had to tell her, but of course she already knew. She wasnt stupid and it was Keifer's fault that she was angry with him. "...She knows what happened..." he turned to L.C "If you know... Why bother asking?"

"Because, it would be so much better to hear it from you" L.C told Keifer sarcastically. "As for you Brandon, though your method of trying to get me away is quite amusing, shove it" she sighed "I'm not going to leave because you want me to" she added. Looking at both of them. Keifer wouldn't even look at her. He was mad at her for bringing it up, but she still liked him.

Keifer stayed staring out at the lake, not moving from Brandon's side. He didnt get why she wanted him to say it, or even why it wouldnt make her feel better, which it probably wouldnt. "...And hearing it from me would make it better would it?" he said "I dont see that... Putting words to it might only make you feel worse L.C" He eventually looked at her but only for a second.

Brandon blinked in surprise, before scowling. He watched the interrogation quietly, his mind quickly trying to formulate any plan that would work in his favor.

L.C just looked at him, it was like he didn't even know her. L.C was just a tad headstrong. "Because Keifer, maybe if you say you'll get off your mind, and want to talk to me again" she said her voice becoming cold, dripping with sadness. "I miss how it used to be>" she stated finally, looking at him, then turning to Brandon and giving him a curious look. This cant be good she thought, seeing the look on his face.
