Girty had not said a word. All she could do was stand and stare in the distance trying to avoid looking at the two crying Hufflepuffs. She sat down by the feet of the troll patting his toes. wondering if the troll had a loved one that will morn at the creatures death. Girtys eyes grew wide, fear ran through her whole body, her breathing rate doubles as she shot up into the air. "Will the troll have a mate? If so i think we should run."

Grace smiled at Girty. "We should hear it long before it gets here. But I agree, we should get moving." Her face solomned and all emotion washed away.

Boggleworth wiped away his tears, took a deep shuddering breath and said more cheerfully "come on we're Hufflepuffs, what are we doing standing around talking like a trio of lemmings, when we should be moving! I can say sorry a thousand times but it won't bring the troll back unfortunately," he grimaced but continued in stronger voice "what has happened has happened, the past is behind us, now let's move!" He went to take Grace's and Girty's hands to lead them away...

Girty stood still. Thinking about Bogs words and then had flash backs to the whole incident and how easy it all seemed. "How did you know about the lair Bog? How did you know how to powerfully conjure up that spell." she shuddered at the thought. "it all seemed to easy."

She's determined to make this hard for us all Boggleworth thought sadly, I didn't mean to do it, why won't she just trust me, I trust her Boggleworth said a little angrily "What do you mean too easy? Do you think I wanted this Girt?" Boggleworth stuttered with tears now streaming down his cheeks once again, "How...how could you even suggest such, such a thing!" He couldn't believe Girty why? he thought "H, how could you!" he stammered through his tears, he turned away and his arms hanging loosely and he quickly limped off into the dark forboding forest, in confused and sad shock.

"Bog, Girty," Grace started, "this is hardly the place or the time for this." She didn't want to say it aloud but she agreed that aweful curse just slipped of his tongue like soap in a wet hand. She watched Bog limp off, "Bog we should stick together! Bog, come back!" She ran after him and grabbed his hand, "I'll come with you." She looked up at him and smiled.

Boggleworth was so ashamed, of course he knew he'd done a terribel deed, but now he would never be forgiven, he knew in his heart and in his head that Girty, and even Grace would never think of him the same again, and he just couldn't face that. He spun round to Grace and said in a sad strangled voice "I know you hate me now! I've done wrong and I deserve it, so just leave me alone! I should be locked up in Azkaban" he nearly snarled, the fighting spirit had totally deserted him, he shrugged Grace off and plunged deeper into the forest his heart broken as he tried to run he shouted "I know you'll never forgive me!"

Grace knew, despite her vindication, that Bog needed her. "Bog," she said quietly, "I forgive you." She walked to him and tried to look him in the eye. "I forgive you," she whispered.

Boggleworth stopped abruptly at the sound of Grace's angelic voice. He span round again, "are, are you sure?" he asked surprised "you're not just saying that?" If she was sure he knew all would be right again. He just needed to be certain.

Grace smiled and put her hands on Bog's cheeks. She brought his face close to hers and kissed him. She pulled away and put her forehead to his, "I'm sure."

Boggleworth's heart beat like a drum, the kiss brought him to life again "thankyou Grace," he whispered back fervently "I love you so much!" he smiled, "and now for the last time, let's be off!" he said his voice strong and clear again he took Grace's hand squeezing it tightly with affection.

Grace smiled and squeezed his hand back. She looked back but could no longer see Girty, Dr Munchy or the troll. She didn't want to ask to go back so she looked back to Bog, smiled and nodded. "Lead, and I shall follow thee."

"oooh follow the leader is it!" chuckled Boggleworth his past worries easily forgotten. He led Grace through the dreary forest but at a slow pace due to his limp, "Well now I know to steer clear of the forest!" said Boggleworth lamely trying to stimulate conversation "It'll be quidditch soon, vs Slytherin, I can't wait!"

Grace followed Bog but felt guilty about leaving Girty, after all she was the one that dragged her into this. She nodded at Boggleworth's statement. "Em," she said, "I can't wait either. You been practicing?"

Boggleworth wanted to forget the events of earlier so he tried to lighten the mood by saying "ah yes of course while I was patrolling around the corridors, luckily a teacher hasn't caught me! No next time I'll practice on the pitch!"
