Boggleworth smiled at Grace seeing her clutch her stroke her wand, is that in apprhension he wondered, but at least she's ready "ok then hit it with spells as soon as you see it, all of us at once otherwise we're in trouble, I'll take the lead you to follow," he then muttered to Grace "if I fall get the hell out and run!" he wandered through the trees signalling for his fellow Hufflepuffs to follow at a distant

Girty stood up and looked around. She noticed Bog and Grace walking off. She stood up did a fake salute then ran after them pulling out her wand as she ran. "So where is this lair then?" She did a spooky little sound and ran around in front of them pretending to be a ghost.

"If you fall!?" Grace stopped walking and frowned, "Bog, no!"

Boggleworth was flabbergsted "come here!" he hissed to Girty "I said stay behind, this no game!" then he lowered his tone "sorry Girt, we need to be careful!" Boggleworth then released Grace's hand, after a quick squeeze, then limped along in front of them. Pushing through the leaves of the trees he stumbled along and saw the troll lair, it was a large cave and he approached cautiously wand at the ready,

Grace took a deep breath and rolled her wand in her hand. "Let's go Girt," she said and followed Bog.

Girty looked to the floor and scuffed her shoe along the ground. Bog was really angry with her, maybe she should take this seriously. She took a deep breath and moved over to wards Grace to stand silently and not move.

(By request, as far as this thread is concerned I'm a big, stupid ugly Troll.. who stinks..(& that was impossible to type with a straight face))
A lump of flesh, just distinguishable as the thick fingers of a troll thumped against the dry ground, accompanied by an almighty moan, both pained, and angry. Before the troll's face came into the light, Boggleworth could see his breath, eerily emanating from the lair within. The lump of flesh was raised, and thumped to the ground again. Another moan. Louder. Angrier.
The monster appeared, his coarse skin no longer grey, but a luminous white in the moonlight. Boggleworth's leg shook as it considered moving backward, completely of its own accord, but it cannot act fast enough. The troll might look heavy, but he comes forward in massive strides. He raised the lump-like fist.
(Sorry if there was a bit of godmodding in there..!)

Boggleworth flared with anger, why had he got nervous but when it came to it, he raised his wand and thundered a spell, but it wouldn't be enough on its own, he stumbled back his leg catching, the troll was quicker than he'd expected.

Grace heard Bog shout something. She ran to him and saw the mountainous troll striding towards Bog. Her mind was like clockwork and she know exactly what to do. She raised her wand and aimed at the troll's legs. "Locomotor Mortis," Grace called and a yellow bolt shot from Grace's and hit the trolss legs. They were bound together. But would it hold?

Girty slowly walked into the cave. she peered around the wall and gave a little whimper. She was good in make believe situations but not the real thing. Suddenly she heard a noise, she lost her footing and feel back wards with a bang. Was she going to be any use? she thought to herself.

(Goes into troll mode again..)
The troll didn't care about who attacked him.. as far as he was concerned, he would have whatever moved and whatever was closest. It raised the club up high, and was moments from crashing it down on the pest before him, when it suddenly felt something in his legs. The troll moaned loudly in anger at the realisation that he stuck.. he thrashed his arms about to and fro, narrowly missing someone with one huge swipe. His face contorted in sheer fury, as his lashing with his club became more vigorous and violent. He heard sound beside him.. there.. right in front of him.. one of the pests.. a male one.. throwing his thick, trunk-like arm into the air, he crashed his club down once again, with surprising speed. This time though, he had reached his target.

Munchy was quite enjoying his recent stalking of Henry. As much has he hated to admit he had anything in common with a Hufflepuff the boy was remarkably like himself when he was younger. Munchy remembered his own trips into the forest and after each one he came out of it with cuts and scrapes all over. He did, however, enjoy it everytime. A troll in the forest was new to Munchy. He wasn't surprised either though. He'd seen all sorts of creatures in the forest, most of them more dangerous than a troll. He'd keep his eyes peeled in case Henry got into bother but other than that he'd sit back and enjoy the show.

Boggleworth had muttered another incantation but it had rebounded off the thick hide of the troll. He was lying flat when the troll swung again, he tried to scramble out of the way, but it was impossible, the club smashed down onto Boggleworth's arm splintering the bones. He cried out in a pain but his head was relatively clear, with his other arm he started dragging himself away as the pain filled his head. Too much like before, when she got me!. As the anguish increased, he lifted his wand arm for one last spell roaring "Avada Kedavra!" as if he had used the spell before. The troll died instantly, and Boggleworth passed out from the mind splitting pain.

Grace was looking for Girty when she heard the crushing of bone and Bog crying out in pain. She whirled around, "Bog," she cried. He said a spell she could never have imagined could echo in her ears as long as this one did. She froze.
The troll died, she watched it fall, and she stood gaping at Bog. How could he? she thought, how could he? Grace stood rooted to the spot, unblinking, unwavering in her pursuit for an answer for using such a curse.
She could not leave him though. She slowly walked to his side and turned him onto his back. She picked up the broken arm to asses the damage. "He will live," she thought aloud. She stood up and began to pace. Once, what is it? twice, I can't remember what that spell is, a third time and she stopped, "what is the bones mending spell?" She slumped next to Bog in frustration. She lifted his fore finger high in the air so his arm was straight. She pointed her wand at it and said, "Incarcerous." Ropes sprung from the end of her wand and wrapped themselves around Bogs arm. Tight, she thought, very tight!

Munchy drew his wand from his robes and revealed himself from his hiding place. After all I've done, he thought to himself, After all that and now this could be the end. No, it will not be! "Ms Marks, if you please." Munchy said calmly as he stepped forwards towards the children. "Bracchium Emendo!" Munchy called out the bone healing spell with as much force as possible in order to mend as many brakes as Henry had. "Grace," Munchy felt odd talking to a student and using their first name, it was not something he'd usually do. However as he'd met with and spoken to Ms Marks on previous occasions it seemed fitting. "I want you to say nothing of this. Nothing at all to anyone. The ministry will know an unforgivable curse has been used and i will tell them it was me. I can have nothing spoiling what i have done do you understand or must i obliviate you?"
