[Kim Rivers]

"Poor bird" she was going to say is it dead but then she realised that would be a stupid question.

[glow=lightgreen,2,300]"Very good mister Chase. Five more pointns to slytherin." she said applauding him, and then covering the cage again. "Next class we will all learn the spell that revives a creature from the Immobulus spell, but right now your homework assignment..." she heard the class groan, "Oh, don't be like that! My homework is fun." she heard a few unbelieving muttering around the room, "Your homework!" she said to get their attention again, "Is: I want you to split up into teams of two, then I want you to take turns... throwing things at each other and casting Immobulus at them. Like one person throws, the other says the spell, and then you switch. Very simple." she nodded. When nobody moved from their seat she said, "Class dismissed. Except for you Miss Rivers, if I may have a word?"[/glow]

[Brian Chase]

Brian waited outside of class because he wanted to see if Kim would be his partner for the homework.

[Kim Rivers]

Oh no.. she thought the only time teachers want a word with me is when ive done something wrong still she picked up her things and walked over to the prof. "Sure"

[glow=lightgreen,2,300]She smiled, "Thank you," she walked over to the bird cage, reached under the covering and grabbed something. She walked back to the slytherin girl and said, "If you wouldn't mind terribly, I'd like you to watch over this for me." she said putting a brightly colored, patterned egg in her hands. "It should only take it about a week to hatch, but I have lessons to plan and I can't keep watch over it. All you need to do is put it in your pocket and your body heat will keep it warm enough to hatch, do you think you can do that for me?"[/glow]

[Kim Rivers]

She was shocked and surprised. She took the egg. "Yeah ill look after it. Ill be glad too. It um.. wont screech when it hatches though will it? I dont want to be drove to insanity just yet. I get enough of that at home." She looked at the brightly coloured egg and smiled. "Ill look after it for you Professor" she said

[glow=lightgreen,2,300]She laughed, "Oh, don't worry about that. It won't gain it's voice until about a week after it hatches. Thank you Miss Rivers, and if I'm not mistaken, there's someone waiting in tha hall for you." she said turning and gathering up her own things.[/glow]

[Brian Chase]

''Hey, what's that lump in you pocket?''

[Kim Rivers]

She looked surprisingly at him. "Lump?" Then she looked down "Oh this? Just something the professor asked me to look after for her" She looked back at him "Did you want me for something?" she asked

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred walked out of the class, seeing Kim and Chase together. He sighed, walked over to them. "Good to see the goody-two-shoes getting us points." He said, then turning and leaving before they could reply.

[Kim Rivers]

She looked at chase. "Whats his problem?"

[Brian Chase]

''I have no clue'' he answered. ''So, want to be my partner in the homework thing?''

[Kim Rivers]

"Yeah sure" she smiled "though i suggest being careful with me.. i might miss" she joked

[Brian Chase]

''Well we shouldn't throw sharp objects then'' Brian said smiling.

[Kim Rivers]

"Or heavy ones." She joked. "Dont want no injuries now do we?"
