She looked at him confused "Where?"

"Back to the school." He said. He turned and stepped then heard a twig break in the trees behind him. He turned his head and saw one. "What are the chances of this happening..." He gasped as he took out his wand.

Kim stayed stood where she was. "Not likely but its happening"

He turned to see a large werewolf snarling at them. Leigh grinned evilly. "Kim, run away and remember what I said. No telling if he's fully turned or not. It is a full moon as well." He readied himself and launched himself at the werewolf, on his way turning into his Animagus tiger form.

Kim ran but didnt get very far "uh.. professor... theres like... loads of them.." she went to pull out her wand and remembered it had broke "Great.." she looked around and then the only thing she could do was distract it "Spiritsalit" a ball of white light formed and she threw it. It was distracted enough for her to run and climb up a tree out of view.

Leigh battled with the werewolf and ripping it apart. He recognised the severe taste and putrid smell. Fully turned! He was shocked, then turned to see another 5 of them behind him. He growled then saw the light ball fly through the air and saw Kim climb a tree. Smart girl.

He growled threateningly at them, knowing he'd be able to take one down, but the rest would rip him apart. His Exdamentia spell was his only chance, but once he returned to human form, he'd be vulnerable.

He did it anyway. He held out his wand and chanted, "Draconic Exdamentia!" He roared. The dragon emerged before him, blocking the werewolves who immediately attacked him. He felt woozy a little and turned to see another werewolf, a female one. His eyes widened as she launched herself at him. He turned into the tiger and leapt into her, gushing the wind out of her. He clawed at her flesh, hoping to drive her away. No luck.

He battled for a long while, wounds covering his entire body. He was slowly growing weaker form loss of blood, but he remained fighting, for Kim had to escape. His dragon wasn't faring much better than him. It was muddled constantly by the running werewolves circling it.

Leigh sighed, knowing defeat was invitable. He saw the female werewolf snarling at him viciously, then with an adrenaline rush, he attacked her savagely and thrust her into a tree, knocking her out. He roared loudly, feeling the bittersweetness of victory. He turned to see his dragon lurch forward and snap up three of the werewolves and rip them apart. He ran at one, leapt and landed heavily on it's back, driving his fangs into the neck of it. He saw the last one, pinned down by the dragon, the smelt it.

He returned to his human form and stumbled over to the werewolf. He held out his wand and chanted the chant for the Homomorphus spell. It worked as the werewolf slowly reverted back to his human form... the emerging human suddenly shocked Leigh. For he was staring at the man from the photo.

Kim, realising now it was safer, climbed out the tree. She dashed over to the Professor who she could see was hurt. He looked weak, not surpising he'd just taken on a hoard of werewolves. She glanced at him, worry filling her face. "Professor.. are you okay? Your hurt" she stated the obvious. She saw him looking at something and she glanced into the direction.

She filled with horror at the sight.. It was her dad. "Oh... my" she said.. She fell to her knees and took her fathers body into her arms. She sat there cradeling him in her arms. She knew this is what he would probably be but even so, she never truely believed it. she was rocking back and forth holding him in her arms. She wouldnt let go. She cried and was blinded by the tears. She shouldnt have let him leave.

"dad.. why.. why couldnt you see what you were getting yourself into!" she screamed. "Why wouldnt you listen to us?" It started to rain heavily and soon the ground became waterlogged. "why did you have to be an idiot?" She held him close to her, she thought back to when they last spoke. She had said some evil things to him, none of which she meant. Now she couldnt even tell him they werent true.

She looked at the professor "I just wish now he'd listened to mum. She told him not to go, she told him it was dangerous. But what takes the cake is, even though he knew, he took claire anyway. I had to literally hide my kid brother to stop him taking him. We hated each other. We never got along, always at each others throats tellin one another how much we despised each other. And how much we wished neither one of us had been born. I was glad to see the back of him. Then i'd heard they'd gone missing, i didnt care about my dad going mssing, i thought he deserved all he got. But Claire, she was my life. She was my best friend. The only person i truely trust with my life. But.. Now.. Now i know hes gone. Now he's dead. All i want is for him to come back. I want my father back and i know i cant have him. I took all the years i had with him for granted and made sure his life was hell. And sinces hes well.. Claire probably is too" She looked down at her dad. "Thanks for leaving me... Now who am i going to fight and argue with?" she said trying to joke around "Ive got nobody who i can argue with and who'll argue back. And no one to make life hell for" she laughed a bit. But that was all the energy she had left inside her before she broke down in floods of tears and buried her head in her fathers chest. "Im sorry" she muttered to him.

"Come here." Leigh said, pulling Kim into his arms to hold her. "He did what he did for no one knows. His mind could have gone crazy when he was bitten, he could have been bitten before he left. He could have turned and bitten Claire, that's why he could have taken her away. No ones knows. Banishka." The dragon disappeared.

"All we can do now is just take his body back to the school, prsent it to Professor Wigglyfish and ask her what to with his body."

Her tears were washed away in the rain but they were still there. "He was...stupid" she said letting go of the professor and sitting back on the ground. "He couldnt see anything but these.. these.. things! He wouldnt listen and he didnt care!" she said angrily. She hit the floor in frustration "Mum never asked anything from him, just that tiny favour. Dont go. He broke her. She cried herself to sleep everynight. And i was left to look after Jayke. I was left to play mum. He put us through so much stuff i could never forgive him for." she took hold of her dead fathers hand "It makes no difference in the long run though does it? Always said his stupidity would be the end of him" she began to cry again. But this time, only the tears came. No sounds. "I dont hate him. I dislike him so much... but i dont... i cant hate him. I just dont get why. Everything was fine with all of us untill i reached about the age of six... thats when the trouble began and when he grew distant. All he could ever see was these monsters, claire and jayke. He didnt have any more room in his life for me and mum,so we were strong.. for each other. He's half the reason i lose my temper so easily. Always the hot-headed one." she sat there and just stared at him. She thought about Claire. "I dont know what im going to do without her.. You never really appreciate things, or people, until its gone" she hugged herself tight. This is going to kill mum... Jayke, dad was his idol she stared blankly at him as the tears came steadily faster. Her eyes glazed over and only the tears, even though not really visible through the rain, that was the only sign of emotion on her face. She felt empty inside again. The feeling she thought she had got rid of suddenly came rushing back, like a slap on her face.

"All I can say is that after finding someone who you thought was dead alive, you'll feel nothing but emptiness, especially someone who left like your father." Leigh said, bending down and scooping up the body onto his shoulder. He grunted as he stood and held the limp body of her father. "Alright, we have to go back to the school..." He trailed off when he heard someone behind them. He turned to see a girl walk into the clearing, carefully stepping over the dead bodies of the werewolves.

"Kim?" She said, carefully her voice ragged from disuse.

She turned around and saw a girl. She was very dirty and looked liked she'd been dragged around quite a lot. Kim looked at her. She knew strait off who it was.
"Claire..." she ran over to her and flung her arms around her neck "Thank god your alright. Where have.. what happened? You've got leaves in your hair" she said pulling a few out. Claire smiled weakly at her. She had become so thin. She could hardly walk. Kim pulled her to her as she fell. "I dont feel so good" she muttered. Her eyes flickered closed as she fell into her sisters arms. Kim turned to the professor. "Reckon she's been bitten?" she asked and she lifted her up. She looked at her sister, clearly very weak. Kim doubted she'd survive. "Please dont die"

"I did fight with a female werewolf. Tell me girl, were you bitten?" Leigh asked. Claire looked up at him and looked away. He nodded slowly. "You were the one I fought... Kim, help her up." Leigh brought out his wand, though weak from exhaustion, he managed to create a horse with his Exdamentia spell. He propped the body of Kim's father on the large Clydesdale horse, as Kim brought over her twin. Leigh helped her up and made sure she was stable.

"Now we'll go back to the castle."

Kim stared at him. "Go.. Ill be along in a minute" she looked away "Good to know that we were almost killed by two members of my family..." she put Claire on the horse and took the professor by the arm. She led him away from claire so she wouldnt hear Kim. "She's weak.. I doubt she'll make it to the castle. And even if she did, she'd have nowhere to go after that. Mother couldnt possibly look after her.. especially during those harsh times.. Looking at the thing that killed them both." Another tear ran down Kims cheek "Maybe... I dunno.. But wouldnt it be better if we just let Claire go back.. to the pack i mean? They'd be able to look after one of their own.. better than we could anyway." she looked at him "Of course.. you are a professor and know more about these things but i just want whats best for her.. even if it means letting her go. Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices.. for the ones you love" she looked over at Claire "And id sacrifice my own life and give up everything for her.. just so she could lead a happy life"

Leigh looked from the ragged girl, Claire, back to Kim. He sighed, seeing the weakness in the eyes of the girl on the horse. "She'll make it, because if she doesn't we both will be held for murdering." Leigh said, making a thing smile on his lips, trying to cheer Kim up a little. "You do realise I am a Professor, I can conjure many foods, medical supplies and protective spells if I wish to, I'll patch her up as best as I could right now, then we'll take her to the infirmary, ok?"

She stroked her sisters hair "Telling me if she dies we'll be held for murder is not a comfert you know" Claires startling blue eyes stared into her dark ones "I actually sometimes forget your a professor, i dont normally speak to you like one" she laughed "sorry about that... Sir" she looked round and smiled at him "Yeah.. lets get her to the infirmary"

"Am i going... to be... okay? Kimba... Please... Dont.. Lie" Claire pleaded "Remember... The promise? Between me.. and you... It still stands" Kim nodded "I remember the promise. How could i forget you dimwit. You made me feel like... i dunno... something sloshy" She smiled "I think you will be okay... You'll be back with mum and Jayke soon." She soothed her "I hope" she finished off with a whisper.
