Kim stood on the edge of the forest. She took a quick glance inside the forest then behind her to make sure there was nobody around. She couldnt see anyone so she pushed herself on, into the forest she went. It was dark but she didnt want to cast the lumos spell. Not because she didnt want the creatures to run away, but she didnt want anybody seeing her in there. It was forbidden after all. She found a clearing and went into the middle. She hadnt seen or heard anything.

Lying in a tree in his animagus form, Leigh heard someone walk past him. He opened his eyes and watched as a student walked by him. He wanted to know why she was here, without alerting her presence. He leapt down from the tree, silently landing on his paws. He followed the girl, picking up her scent as she went through the small clearing. He suddenly stepped on a twig, breaking it in two. The girl suddenly spun her head round and saw him. Her eyes went wide with fear as she looked him in the face.

She quickly got her wand out her robe. She held it high in the air trying to think of the worst spell she could find. Not a tricky one but one that would hurt it enough to leave her alone. She couldnt think strait so she decided on trying to stop it from moving. "Immobulus" she said. Whatever the thing was was too quick for her and it managed to get away from the spell.

Leigh growled and stepped into the moonlight, his eyes shining in the darkness. Kim saw him for what he was, as a tiger. He stepped towards her, but she fired another spell at him, forcing him to dodge it.
That's it, He thought. He suddenly returned to his human form and pulled out his wand and stood up.

"Argh!" Kim screamed and ran behind a tree. "Oh. Professor. Im.. i didnt.. sorry.. Were you following me?" She said from being the tree. Im never going to be able to explore this place

she looked at him. "Safety huh?" she said to herself then followed the professor further into the forest.

"Yes, safety." Leigh said, brandishing his wand. "You never know when someone, or something will attack you in here. I explore it, keep tabs of sightings, and at times, I destroy the evil lurkers in here. Like the werewolves the other night."

She didnt say anything, she just listened. She like werwolves and she wanted to see for herself if any reside in the forest. "Werewolves"

"Indeed, werewolves. Not for the faint of heart. These are fully formed werewolves, and my animagus form barely is able to fight one on one." Leigh said. "The werewolves that reside here are permanently transformed, always on the edge of viciousness and no mercy."

She turned to him "Is there any chance of finding one? Ive always wanted to see one... for one reason or another.. My father used to study them, never let me, but he shown me pictures and called them, fascinating creatures.. Then got.. Um.. A bit.. Dead" she finished

"Quite possibly." Leigh said. "If we encounter one, you run. Right away, no questions asked. Run. I'll become my animagus and fend it off, but it's up to you to reach the school. Use my Exdamentia spell for creatures to protect you, along the way."

"They are savage and wild, willing to kill anything in search of their prey." Leigh said, knowing the full effects of the werewolf transformation. "They either hunt in packs or by themselves, thos that are fully formed anyway. Those that aren't usually don't hunt in packs, but run from their friends and family for shame, fear, multitude of things."

She stopped. "This may be a stupid question but.." She laughed at herself, partly bcause she couldnt belive she was asking this "Theres no chance a werewolf could ever.. be not so evil.. or return to the family they left? could they?" she laughed again "Of course not.."
