"Well," Grace managed through her laughter, "if you thought you were strange before, it's guarantied to show. Though it's not entirely a bad thing, suits you actually!"

"Really?" Girty said in a high pitched very posh voice, nothing like her normal accent or pitch. She then stood up remembering why she was down at the lake in the first place. Before she knew it she was jogging on the spot. "Come on Grace lets get that heart pumping." She laughed as she switched to star jumps.

Grace giggled at Girty. "Star jumps? Me? Never." She put another bean into her mouth then looked at Girty. "Okay, fine, if you insist." She jumped up and started doing floppy star jumps, arms flailing around her head and her tongue stuck out.

Girty stopped and watch Grace and her attempt to do star jumps. "That will not do." She then moved towards Grace straightening out her arms as she started to jump trying to get her to jump higher. "We do not want you to get injured."

Grace laughed and nodded at Girty. "No we wouldn't," she giggled. She did a few proper star jumps, then flopped down onto the grass and exclaimed, "poof! I'm all out of beans." She picked up her packet of beans and started eating them one at a time.

Girty laughed and ran towards the lake and knelt by it she dipped her hand in it. "Wow that is cold. I was thinking of throwing you in it but best not now. We do not want you to catch a cold." She skipped back and took another bean.

Grace nodded and informed Girty, "I'm pathetic when I'm sick." She looked into her bag of beans and decided to throw all the beans into her mouth. All of them tasted strange: like everything and nothing at the same time. Like when you mix all the colours of the rainbow together it turns into a sickly brown, but this was less sickly and more an odd savoury taste.

Girty stared open mouthed at Grace at what she had done with the beans. "I can not believe it....You have done something it has never done. I never occurred to me to tip them all in my mouth at once." She stood up and gave Grace around of applause "Well done to you. I'm honored to be in your presence."

Grace shewed the glob of goo in her mouth very slowly, not wanting to choke. She swallowed hard and smiled at Girty. "Kind of gross, actually, but the good kind of gross."

"I imagine so" Girty smiled and looked at Grace before flopping down on the floor. "So now what do we do?"

"I don't...." Girty broke off and looked at Grace. "I get the impression we could be here all day if we wanted, doing that."

Grace smiled at Girty. "Yeah," she mumbled, "we could." She looked up at the sky and began to think of her time at Hogwarts. Since she had met Girty (and Bog) she had opened up to them and shared and healed, somewhat. And all this thought reminded her of all the friends she has and the time she has spent with them.
That thought whispered a memory of a torn piece of paper she had found. She dug in her pocket and pulled it out. It was still a dirty yellow colour and still had the three letters on it 'o' 't' and 'h'. She handed it to Girty and said, "look what I found the other day in Hogsmeade."
