L.C had been very confused lately, not sure about... while anything anymore. The whole... situation with Keifer was really starting to confuse her. She found that sitting by the lake tended to calm her. Fresh air was all she needed, that's whatshe was telling herself anyway. Right now she was alone... she always felt alone and when around people there faces started to blurr. Nightmares haunted her of the night she lost everything she cared about in the world. Sure, she had great friends but L.C felt like she was slipping away and the only thing she think about was him, her immortal, her savior, her dead boyfriend... DJ. She couldn't ever get him off her mind. She constantly wondered what he would think if he saw her now still paining from his death. Hogwarts was her happy place a place where no one could hurt her, a place where she could finally forget about the horrid things that in a way made her unique. Here she was normal, but why didn't she feel like it. Grin and bare it, just grin and bare it

Grace came jogging along the shore of the lake, thinging about what she was going to do about her father, when she saw LC. She looked deep in thought, just like Grace did when she saw... but that was he problem. She stopped jogging, streched, then sat next to LC. She didn't say anything but looked over the lake. Finally she looked at LC's worried face. "You want to talk about it?" she asked, knowing full well that it was none of her business, but she knew how much better she felt after talking about her nightmares and her father. "It helps!" she added with a slight smile.

"I'm partly thinking about my, well... relationship with Keifer. It's strange, because he's so fun to be with but, I think he's into some guy named Brandon, I've seen them kissing. Don't tell him, I was just walking by." Lauretta said to Grace, still thinking. "and part of it is about DJ" she stated, sighing sadly.

Grace nodded at the mention of there being something between Keifer and Brandon. But when LC mention a new guy she asked, "who's DJ?"

A silent tear slid down L.C cheek as turned away, staring at the lake. "He is... well was my boyfriend"she said this, causing more tears to roll down her face. "He died", after stating this Lauretta lost complete control over her tears, but still made no noise.

Grace frowned and put a hand on LC's shoulder, patting it gently. "I'm sorry," Grace whispered, "for your lose. I- I know what you're going through. My mum died when I was twelve, Father took it harder then I did, but I still see her, fell her with me always. He will always be with you, looking over you and protecting you from those who would cause you harm. And that's a comforting though." She smiled at LC and wiped her cheek.

"I guess, but if nothings doing me harm, why am I such a mess here, usually it's only like this at home." she stated looking at Grace, she was a really good friend. "I blame my father for everything, it's not just because he's a jerk about it, he caused it" she added looking Grace in the eye. " I know you have problems with yours, I can tell in your eyes there's something wrong, and you brought up your father. What's wrong Grace?" she asked her gaze not moving from the girls eyes. "Everyone needs someone to talk to" she said quietly.
(( she can read people))

"You are very perceptive," she said lowering her voice. She broke eye contact with LC and said, eyes closed, "since my mother died Father has been drinking to avoid dealing with her death. He always had a temper but sometimes he's -" she broke off. She opened her eyes and the tears fell "- he gets a bit out of hand. And he always tells me I'm going to be just like him: a drunken fool with an aggression problem.
"But I still see Mum," she looked at LC (she was the first person she was telling), "I see her everywhere. She's watching me and helping me not turn into Father." She hated keeping secrets but it felt strange telling LC about what she sees.
