(LK)Sitting at the Lake

[Helia Ollivander]

"Too true there." she said with a nod. "History can be quite fascinating when it plays out in front of you as if you were right there, watching it happen," her eyes glazed over, as if she were looking into another world, then she snapped back to reality. "Anyways, where were we?"

[Brian Chase]

"Talking about classes, I think." he said quite freaked out when Helia's eyes glazed over.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Oh, yeah. Hm..." her gaze drifted across the lake. "Care of Magical Creatures isn't too bad either."

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

L.C was about to start her daily jog when ... (dramatical effect) she sees Helia who she hasn't to in a while. " hey Halo haven't seen you in a while" and saw someone out of the corner of her eye "Oh hi Brian, how are you guys" she asked curiously.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Pretty good, you?" she asked with a broad smile. "It seems like we haven't hung out in forever L.C., we should really do sosmething sometime."

[Brian Chase]

"I'm ok, I guess." he said feeling pretty good.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

" Yeah you guys should so come to Italy and hang with me for the summer holidays" L.C said knowing her father would let her do anything she wants.

[Helia Ollivander]

"That would be brilliant!" she said enthusiatically. "What's your home like?" she asked excitedly.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

" We have a large Arabian style mansion, resting on 20 beautifully landscaped acres. We are like 2 miles out of Sicily. The cities are so beautiful and the food... wonderful." L.C said remembering her beautiful home.

[Brian Chase]

"That sounds amazing! I live in a Victorian style mansion in America, and then a smaller house. I live in three houses."

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"Cool, which state do you live in ?" L.C asked.

[Brian Chase]

"One's in California, and the other is in Texas. So they are pretty far away."

[Helia Ollivander]

She sunk a bit listening to the two slytherins talk about their mansions and extra houses and where all they lived. She felt almost ashamed to talk about her family's two bedroom house in Austria, or the little apartment she lived in when she spent holidays with her uncle, so instead she decided to do something extremly unlike her, "Oh wow, those places sound great... yeah, um, I'd love to visit you in Italy sometime but... I've got to run." she stood up and began walking briskly away from the group at the lake, hoping no on saw her face blushing bright red.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco had been walking back to the castle after an extremely long day, and just turned a corner when he felt himself collide with another figure. Groaning, he rubbed his head, picking himself up off the floor and staring at the culprit who caused the nasty throbbing in his head.

Blinking, he realised it was Ollivander, and scowled, "My head always seems to get damaged one way or another when I encounter you, doesn't it, Ollivander?" He said bitterly, his hand dropping from his head and landing at his side lazily.

'It just had to be him didn't it?!' she thought, inwardly bawling already, "I'm sorry, Malfoy. May I please get by you?" she tried to be kind and calm, but she kept her eyes on the ground. She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep from crying, and before Malfoy could answer she quickly side-stepped him and charged back to the castle. 'Of all the rot things for Moncrieff to ask me to do...' she thought as the tears finally spilled over. 'I just have to get inside.' she thought, 'I just have to get inside.' and she did.
