[Kim Rivers]

Kim was walking around the grounds getting some air when she decided to go beside the lake. As long as the squid wasnt around that was okay by her... She still remembered it mocking her. "Git"

She got beside the lake and leant on a tree, looking around. She couldnt see anyone. Her hair was blowing crazily in the wind, she wondered why she persisted to leave it down.

She slid down the tree and sat down. She was looking over in the direction of the forest and remembered the little... fun she had in there. What she didnt bank on was it going the complete wrong way.. Well the way she didnt want it to go anyway. She sat there in silence. She probably looked either dead or like a statue to anyone walking by.

Draven was walking around by the lake letting the fresh air relieve him of the stuffiness that he experienced in Hogwarts. He thought to himself how bizarre it was that there were no others out, he then noticed what appeared to look like a statue, but as he walked up closer he noticed it was a fellow Slytherin classmate that seemed to be deep in thought. As quietly as possible he walked up behind the tree that she was sitting at and got down on a knee and very clearly spoke, "Nice day isn't it?" Then waited for a reply, or to see if she would just continue to sit in silence.

Guess my statueness doesnt quite cut it... Kim thought still looking over at the forest. She finally looked at the person who spoke and replied "Its alright"

"You know, you shouldnt be out here so late by youself, you neve know what could happen..." he said mockingly towards her. "So why is a girl like you out here all alone anyways?" he asked puzzled. He gazed at her and her withdrawn appearance and wondered if he should just continue with his walk.

Kim laughed "Im sure nothing new could happen. I just came out for a walk really. What bout you?" she asked wondering why he was out.

Laughing at her reply he commented back, "No real reason I suppose. Just needed to just clear my head."

"Would you mind some company, or prefer to sit here and be alone?" He asked questioninly. Watching her as her hair moved with every gust of the wind.

Kim smiled "Company sounds like a good thing" She glanced back to the forest and let her gaze linger there for a minute. The wind wasnt slowing down either and no matter how she tried, her hair wanted to fly with it. Eventually she gave up with a small laugh.

Sitting next to her he said "My names Draven, what is yours?" He let out a slight smile at watching her attempt to keep her hair tame, but laughed a little when she gave up after its persistance. Watching her continuously looking towards the forest he questioned her "Something special going on in the forest?"

Kim brought her gaze from the forest to Draven. "Kim" she told him. She smiled a little and let her gaze linger on the lake now. "What? Oh, the forest?" she asked "No, not going on anyway..." She thought for a minute all the little adventures she'd had in there with friends and the major fight she had with the big boss werewolf. She probably only came out of that alive thanks to Apronia for training her. "It doesnt really matter. Not now anyway, past is past" Past is past.. Leave it there then Kim laughed to herself and looked at him. "I dont think ive seen you around before"

Trying to grasp her mysterious reply Draven just nodded. "Yeah, let the past stay in the past, I suppose" he said mumbling towards the end of the sentence. "Yeah, I am mostly new to the place. Just getting used to it I guess." he said while watching the wind push her robes against her body, outling her figure. "So you ever been in there, the forest that is." he said while looking towards the forest and then peering into her eyes. "So what do you do for fun around here? Swim in the lake ever?" he asked questioningly eyeing her while he waited for her reply.

Kim nodded "Yeah ive been in there a few times. Its not all it's cracked up to be really." she told him, at one point, being in the forest was fun... It was out of bounds and somewhere she wasnt supposed to be, but after a while it became more like a chore than fun. Somewhere she had to go.

As for the lake... Thats where the trouble had begun in the first place. Kim hadnt been in the lake since the start of it all. "Ive been in the lake once" She told him and fun? Theres a word she thought she had forgotten the meaning of. She had became more serious and slightly arrogant towards people... Well, some people. "I just laze about, theres not much to do thats fun, its all been done"

Draven began to notice that Kim wasn't one to openly talk about past experiences, but he did not let this deter him. "So you just follow the fun, not create your own?" he questioned curiously. "Well then of course there would be no fun to be had if thats your thought of fun." Trying to figure out more about his fellow schoolmate Draven began to ask more questions. "So what all did you do in the forest?" then paused. "Who did you go in there with, isn't it out of bounds for students?" "In the lake only once? Why only once, do you not like to swim?" He asked and asked, trying to interpret just what type of girl this was.

This guys either really keen or a bit nosey... Whats with all the questions? She thought to herself. Well whatever it was she wasnt going to tell him the ins and outs of it all.

"Create fun?" She asked "I think ive had enough fun to last me three lifetimes" she told him, putting a lot of empasis on the word 'fun'.

She raised an eyebrow at all his questions. "Yes the forest is out of bounds for students but when you've had to do what i..." she stopped halfway through her sentance and looked at him questioningly. "Why do you want to know so bad anyway.." What had happened in the forest was in the past. "Ive been in the lake once, and yes only once. I do like to swim" The two incidences werent connected, but she still bore the scar from the necklace where the top button of her shirt was undone, you could see the serpant burnt into her skin very clearly. "What happened... The two things are highly un-connected... And why are you so interested? Its in the past..." She tried to tell herself this everyday, but the times of both occurances still lived within her and caused her nightmares.

She looked back over at the lake and thought about what had happened. Slowly, she moved her gaze over to the forest. "What does it matter anyway?"

"He's interested because he thinks he can get you to like him." Jerred said, appearing from the lake. "You know dude, it's not cool hitting on another guys girl, alright, so please stop it before something bad happens to you."

[Brian Chase]

"Dude if you know she loves you, then you have nothing to worry about." He said again appearing out of no where.
