Alana smiled at the younger girl. "Hey, I'm Alana." she said extending her hand. "And don't worry, I don't bite!" she joked.

Rakki pulled back and looked up in thought. "Ano... first year! Yeah!" she smiled at Alana. "Sooo, you're a... Ravenclaw?" She tilted her head and blinked. "... Yeah. Ravenclaw, what year are you?" Rakki asked as she plopped herself down on the ground and looking up at the older girl.

"Suppose you can't judge a book by its cover." She shrugged. "So what are you doing out here?" Rakki asked, fixing her sweater. "I mean, aside from skating."

"Oh just contemplating life. My life at least..." she trailed off as she revisted a memory of her past and tears sprang unwillingly to her eyes. She tried to wipe them away before Rakki noticed.
