Carrie came walking out from one of the large side doors of the castle, and made her way slowly across the grassland towards the lake. She was in no hurry to do anything, in fact, doing something was exactly what she was trying to avoid. It was the first properly nice day she had seen in a while, and she figured she might as well make the most of it.. with a good laze about at the lake.
The Gryffindor smiled to herself with the thought of it, as she kicked the odd stone away as she still made her way along. She lifted her head up to gaze before her, and noticed a particularly nice looking tree that hadn't yet been taken over by other students. It was only moments later, when she was sat down leaning against the tree and looking out at across the lake calmly.

Grace had taken to jogging around the lake when she had the time. She saw Carrie resting against a tree and jogged in her way. She reached the griffie and huffed a, "hey!" She jodded on the spot for a bit, then streched. "Got nothing to do either?" Grace asked, smiling at Carrie.

Carrie greeted the Hufflepuff with a smile. 'Hey.' She said, before giving a knowing nod and adding. 'Nope.. nothing to do unfortunately.' The Gryffindor sighed slightly, then properly noticed what Grace was doing. 'Though I wouldn't agree that you didn't have something to do!' She noted, eyeing Grace as she stretched and warmed up. 'Jogging huh? Something you do often?' Carrie asked with curious, yet smiling eyes.

"Ah, no actually," Grace said, "just started. Maddison says it clears the head and gives you energy and helps you concentrate! I'm testing her theory!"

Cleared head.. more energy.. increased concentration.. I could do with some of that. Carrie thought to herself with a slight smirk. 'Oh right.' She said, considering the idea before realising something. 'Maddison?' She questioned to Grace with a blank look on her face.

"Oh yes," Grace said with a shy smile, "uh, Maddison is looking after my father while he's in hos- while he's sick. She and I have been corresponding and this is one of the things we disused, concentrating. Helps with quidditch, what she implied." Grace smiled, "why don't you join tomorrow. I'm free just before lunch and was planning on going again then."
