Evangeline and Jerred both arrived at the lake, Evangeline settled her things onto the floor and pulled out her sketch, "you can have a look at ones i've already done yet, i think theres something missing they just don't look right" she said as she handed him the book.

"Let's see." Jerred said as he viewed the drawings. What he saw was good, as they were drawings of certain objects such as trees, plants and landscapes. He noted that they were very well done, but one thing stood out. "Where's the shadows?"
(ooc: I decided to make it an obvious thing, lol. As I don't draw in shadows myself.)

"oh, oh, im so stupid! how could i have forgotten..." the sentence trailed off as she concentrated on the drawings, she looked up, "thankyou" she said as she turned to face the lake.

"You're very welcome." jerred said, laughing a little. He looked over Evangeline's shoulder and saw her add shadows to the trees, plains and every other thing. "Wow, look's awesome!"

"hahah, yeah, brain cheese! sorry..a little nickname that came into my head" she snapped shut her book, and breathed deeply, she looked around at the lake and back to the school. " so what do you wanna do?" she asked him.

"I don't know, maybe head off to Hogsmeade." Jerred said, looking at ther Ravenclaw. "You're more than welcome to come with me. There's also a free butterbeer." He said, laughing.

"I know...everyones been but me, i've just never got round to it i guess." she said through nervous giggles, not wanting to embarress herself even more she packed her bag and put it on her back.
The frosty atmosphere meant that with every breath a cold steam was released from her nostrels, shiverring she said "I'll be back in a minute, i need to get a coat before we go, thats if you still want to? I never thought it was this cold."

Jerred stood by the lake waiting for Evangeline to return. He looked out upon the lake and smiled, feeling he'd just made a friend.
