Just remember what happened and now I'm blaming myself.)
Jerred stood on the edge of the lake, feeling the draw into it. He needed to step into the lake for the evil to come forth out of his soul, once done he'd drown. He felt the magnetic draw into the lake, remembering the feeling of power when the soul encapsulated him. He felt the swiftness of how he could be free of it, the freedom to do his own thing... the loss of wanting to swim.
Jerred slowly sat down, a simple pleasure he was doing more often. He remained quiet most of the time, keeping quiet was the best thing for him.
"It's all my fault. I did it. I followed it as a dare from my mother! I did it thinking I could use his powers! I was wrong..." Jerred shouted to no one. "I feel him inside of me, churning everytime I'm near the lake. I cannot let him win. Yes, I'm a Slytherin and born into a noble Pure-blood family who supports him secretly... but I cannot let his evil reign over our school... our country... our world... I can't let him hurt anyone... not my friends, though few in number... definitely... not Kim." His eyes began filling with tears, something he was unaccustomed to. He heard the light footsteps of someone behind him. He didn't care who it was.
