(LK)Sunset

[Jerred Boneman]

(ooc: Continuation of the "Over the Bridge" thread.)

Jerred approached the bridge where he had met Kim only that morning. He hadn't thought to bring anything, so he brought out his wand and conjured a small meal for himself. He sat there and saw the sun still in the sky, sinking into the west hills surrounding the school.

He soon felt a small thing run into him. He turned to see Bouncer jumping onto his leg excitedly. He bent down and picked up the dog who immediately licked his face. He turned to see Kim, walking along the bridge to meet him.

Kim walked over to him "Couldnt get a doggy sitter" she joked. She stood really close to him looking at the sun. Bouncer started to nibble on Jerreds nose. This made Kim laugh.

[Jerred Boneman]

"Hey!" Jerred said to Bouncer. He dropped Bouncer who ran towards the grass and attacked a little butterfly. "Well, I'm actually surprised you came, not that I meant you wouldn't, but yeah..." His voice trailed off as the sunset travelled below the hills, and over the lake.

[Kim Rivers]

She turned her head to look at him "I said id be here" she took his hand "So im here. Whats so surprising by that?"

[Jerred Boneman]

"Last time I asked a girl to come to a spot with me by ourselves she slapped my face in. It was 2 years ago... my 1st year. She's gone now, but yeah, I thought you'd let me down and suffer," He said, before adding a firm but warmly grip to her hand.

[Kim Rivers]

"I didnt think you'd want to. After i like.. well messed you around a bit" she felt his grip on her hand. "Im happy you did though"

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred smiled. "When I say something like this nowadays, I mean it." He said, pulling her into him so he could put his arms around her midriff.

[Kim Rivers]

She put her hand on his chest and glanced over the hills. "Its setting. Pretty"

[Jerred Boneman]

"It is..." Jerred gasped, then he looked at her as the sun disappeared, leaving the evening light turning into night. He put his hand on her chin and titled her head up to meet his. He felt comfortable, more so than ever before. He leant in and kissed her.

[Kim Rivers]

She wrapped her arms around his neck. She pulled back and looked at him "so.. what does this mean?" she asked

[Jerred Boneman]

He held her in his arms and looked at her. "Well... you're mine?" He asked, worried she would say now.

She hugged him "If thats what you want"

[Jerred Boneman]

He suddenly felt a jolt inside of himself. He stood there like a stunned mullet, his jew gaping open. He held her tighter and picked her up in a twirl, shouting with excitement. He had her, something he never thought he'd have. He put her down, and felt Bouncer run through his legs feverishly, yelping happily. Jerred let go of Kim and picked up the puppy, but suddenly Kim leant him into her and kissed him warmly.

She eventually laughed. "So i take it your happy by that?" she put her arms around his waist. "You looked a bit.. shocked"

[Jerred Boneman]

"Of course I'm shocked, why wouldn't I be? Consider your my first girlfriend." He said truthfully.
