L.C was reading a copy of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them not aware of anyone else in the library. When she was reading a book, a war could go on and she wouldn't notice. So far she had read about pixies, doxies, and fairies. She began searching for the section about Unicorns, not noticing someone trying to talk to her.

'Erm.. hello?' Carrie repeated for third time in a row. The Slytherin in front of her seemed to be completely engrossed in her book.. well, that.. or she was doing a very good job of ignoring her. After looking at the older girl for another moment or two in anticipation of a response, the Gryffindor realised she was not getting anywhere and sat down opposite her at the table. After all... that was all she was going to ask permission for in the first place.

Then something dropped... boom. L.C heard that and looked around. A ladder had fallen, looking around she saw a Gryffindor sitting across from her,. "I'm sorry, did you say something?" Laurreta asked, closing her book and setting it down on the table.

Carrie was in the middle of copying up her History of Magic homework, and had finally managed to get to the end of it, when the loud Bang caused her to smudge the whole last paragraph as she jumped. 'Oh bloody hell.' She said in an annoyed voice, Well I'm not copying it out again. The Gryffindor thought to herself, finding the task of doing homework the first time round hard enough to motivate herself for. It seemed that the bang also got the other girls attention. 'Oh, I was just saying hello.' Carrie explained with a slight smile. 'You're L.C, right?' She asked, realising she had in fact seen the girl around quite a bit. 'I'm Carrie.' She added.
