(Q)Trying out new broom

[Brian Chase]

"Time to Start" Brian said grasping on to the end of the broom. "AWESOME!" Brian screamed on his new broom. He was amazed at the speed, "Slytherin will win for sure" He said.

[Carrie McEwan]

'For sure? I don't think so!' Carrie yelled from where she was flying with a big grin on her face. She swerved over to the slytherin, and added. 'I mean, us Gryffindors are going to put up one hell of a fight! I'm Carrie by the way.' She held out a hand for the slytherin to accept.

[Brian Chase]

"Nice to meet you, I'm Brian. I've seen you around school." Brian said shaking her hand.

Alana walked onto the Quidditch Pitch proudly clutching her brand new Firebolt. She kicked off and was flying around when she saw her friend Brian. "Hey Brian! What's up?"

[Brian Chase]

"Nothing, oh I see we both have Firebolts." Brian said looking at her broom.

"Yep. Firebolt's rock!" Alana zoomed off and then called over her shoulder, "Oh, and just for the record Chase? Ravenclaw is soooo gonna win the Quidditch Cup this year! You guys don't stand a chance!"

[Brian Chase]

"Slytherin will wipe the slate clean! We will be victorious." Brian said.

[Carrie McEwan]

'Haha! No! You are both wrong - Gryffindor all the way!' Carrie said with a big grin. 'And can I just say - firebolts! Merlin, you too are lucky! I could only afford a broom like that in my dreams!'

[Brian Chase]

'I got it for my birthday, its fast.!"

[Carrie McEwan]

'Yeah, I can see that!' She said with a laugh. 'But I bet I could still out fly you!' She said with a mischievious eyes as she went zooming past Brian almost hitting into him, but not quite close enough.

[Brian Chase]

"Your on!" Brian screamed flying back up to her. Brian then grabbed the back of her broom pushing her back and pulling himself now into the lead. "What now!?" he screamed flying at full speed.

[Carrie McEwan]

Carrie gave out a loud laugh. He's not going to win that way. As her eyes narrowed slightly in concentration. She swerved round wide and came zooming in front of Brian - who had to sharply spin round to avoid her. 'Haha! Hows that for a move?! First one to the goal posts!'

[Brian Chase]

Brian jumped off of his broom leting himself fall. The broom was falling faster and he was going slower. He closed his eyes and just fell.

[Carrie McEwan]

Carrie was expecting Brian to be hot on her tail, but after a second she realised, he was not in fact behind her. She turned round and he was gone.

Thats when she heard the yell.

She gasped, there was Brian, falling down to the pitch below. I need to help him! she thought frantically. She dived as fast as her broom would allow her towards Brian, the wind blowing strongly against her.

He must have already fallen over 50 foot. She was closing down on him slowly and put her arms out to reach him. I can't get to him! she thought in a panic. She reached into her cloak pocket and drew out her wand. She yelled a spell, emitting a large flash of purple light towards Brian.

He began to slow down - his fall now in slow motion. Carrie dived under him, letting him fall onto the back of her broom. She quickly flew back down to the ground where Brian just fell to the floor - his eyes still shut tight.

'Brian! Whats the matter?' She asked quickly in a hope to stir him. Not a sound. Its all my fault! I shouldnt have dived towards him like that! He's only just had the broom - hes not use to it yet! Brian suddenly gave a violent cough and opened his eyes. 'Are you alright?? What happened??' Carrie asked once again in a panic.

A sharp peircing sound was in his head."Ouch" He said looking at her."I'm ok" He said to make her feel better.
