Ron stared at the chattering group, shifting uncomfortably and feeling out of place. Then, pushing around his empty bottle, he scoffed. "Oh Divination, what a useless class."

Grace saw Ron was uncomfortable being surrounded by huffies, no doubt. So she decided to turn her attention back to him.
"I agree!" she said, "I don't see how a few leaves in the bottom of a used cup can tell you anything!"

Ron smiled at her nodding, "Yeah, it's really a lot of guess work... I don't like classes in general, though," he said somewhat sulkily. "Care of Magical Creatures can be alright, though."

"Yeah!" Grace smiled, "Keifer said it was cool! Personally I'm more into Ancient Runes and Astronomy. Some guessing work as well but I enjoy my class mates-" she giggled "-and the teachers are lots of fun too!" She snorted, then turned the colour of Ron's hair. She tried to hide behind her purple hair but she couldn't...

Boggleworth smiled realising he'd ignored the Gryffindor he said cheerfully "I've got to agree with you there, forgive me for my rudeness, I'm Boggleworth by the way I'm pleased to meet you!" "I don't really know what the lessons are like because I rarely go!" laughed Boggleworth

"Personally," Grace said, taking a sip of her butter beer, "I'm surprised you've gotten this far!" she chucked.

"well I'm a truly dedicated prefect and lessons would be a bore without me!" said Boggleworth sarcastically

Grace laughed half way through a sip and spluttered butter beer all over her hair and face and it ran down her neck. She coughed and said through spluttered giggles, "that's a good joke!"

"why thankyou, I live to please!" exclaimed Boggleworth with a broad grin he took a tissue out of his pocket and handed it to Grace but he hadn't realised that it was extremely grimy and sooty so would just dirty Grace even more,

Grace looked at the tissue, "uh, no thanks," she said politly, "I have my own!" She reached into her pocket and drew out a silk hanky. She dried her face and neck but could do nothing about her hair or the stickiness.

Girty had returned back to her letters and only looked up when she saw grace drying her face. After a small giggle she returned to her focus back onto her letter and smiled away as she read.

Grace watched Girty read away for a moment, then asked, "who are they from?"

Girty looked up, surprised that anyone would ask or even be bothered to ask. "o just some friends from back home. They write and tell me about what is happening, keep me up to date with gossip and try to arranged days out, begging me to come home during holiday. That sort of thing." She nodded thinking about her muggle friends. "They write the letter and dad sends it by owl. Good system really."

"Do they know you're a witch?" Grace asked. "When anyone asks my dad where his daughter is he says I'm at some boarding school for the retarded."

Girty tried hard not to laugh. It was sad that Graces Dad would say that but it still made her laugh.
"Yeah they do. We where having a sleep over when my owl came. They find it strange but cool. It is not common knowledge in my home town that my family have special abilities as my Granddad us to put it." She laughed to herself almost losing balance on her chair.
