Ron yawned, thanking Rosemerta for his butterbeer with a flushed smile, almost tripping over his trainers while staring at her, and pulling up a chair to an empty table, dropping his mittens onto the surface.
Staring at his drink, he sighed, before taking a huge gulp, savoring the taste of the bubbly liquid.
In fact, it was so good, that he finished it in another two sips and leaned back in his chair, looking out the window.

Grace saw Ron by a table and decided to go say hi. "Hi!" she said, putting a hand on the seat opposite the Griffie. "Can i sit?" she asked shyly. She pulled the chair out and sat down. "I'm Grace, by the way." She extended her hand and smiled, almost apologizing for her forcefulness that day in Zonko's.

Ron looked at the girl, a shocked expression on his face, before smiling cheerfully with a nod. Leaning over, not noticing his robes dip into a small pitcher of cream, he shook the girl's hands.
"Ron Weasley," he said brightly. Then, remembering her from his latest trip to Zonkos, he grinned. "How's your Pigme Puff doing?"

"Oh, it's eaten one of my socks and is working on another one in my robe." Grace giggled and smiled at Ron, "your sleeve, Ron."

Ron looked at his sleeve somewhat bewildered before groaning and picking up a napkin while his face slowly turned red. "Er-" He quickly wiped off what he could before turning back to Grace with an embarrassed grin, "Sounds like an expensive pet!"

"Yeah!" Grace was destructed by how meticulous Ron cleaned his sleeve, "but I'll soon introduce him to my other dorm mates sock draws."

Ron laughed, his face still slightly flushed from his clumsiness, and he ran a hand through his ginger hair. "At least you'll have the perfect gift, whenever their birthdays come around! Sounds like they'll be needing a few new pairs of socks, eh?" He said with a wink, gathering some coins from his pocket.

Grace smiled at the ginger haired boy, then he winked, she couldn't help but giggle at him. "Um, do you... nevermind, so what's up with you and Malfoy? You could cut the tention with a spoon!"

Ron let out a sigh, tossing a coin in his hand as he thought of how to answer that question. "Well," He started, the coin slipping from his palm and landing on the table with a loud clatter. He stared at it for a minute before frowning. "Malfoy likes to make rude remarks about my family every chance he gets," His frown turned into a small scowl, "His father works with mine, and our families are just the exact opposites. Anyway, you have to admit he's not the nicest guy, sure knows how to get on my nerves." With a small shrug, he placed the rest of his coins on the table and smiled. "Have you got yourself into any rivalries around here?"

Grace watched Ron's face as he spoke. She srugged at the question, "I certainly hope not! I mean these on person that may think I'm a bit forward and rather pushy but I hope I'm wrong about her!" Grace glanced sheepishly at Ron with a small smile dancing on the edge of her lips.

Ron grinned, "You're lucky you don't have someone like Malfoy on your back all the time." He let out an exasperated sigh, before smiling back at Marks. "Plus, I think it's good that you're so enthusiastic about things. Being shy is really useless, in a lot of ways." He shrugged.

Grace smiled at the ginger haired boy, "shy can be kind .. of .. cute!" She shrugged. I'm the wrong person to be talking to about that though, she thougt. "I'm really the wrong person to be talking to about that though," she vocalised. "Aparently I'm a bad judge of character!!!"
