Carrie entered The Three Broomsticks, and grinned to see that one of the window tables was free. Quickening her pace ever so slightly, (for afterall, it was the best table in the pub), she plonked her bag down on the floor and grabbed the nearest seat.
After ordering a butterbeer for herself, she leant her elbows onto the table and peered out to the outside world with her hands supporting her chin. It was a windy February afternoon, and you could see many students of Hogwarts hurrying about to find a warm shop to go into too. She peered at the yonder shops, and soon found herself drifting into a mild daydream as she seemlingly stared at the vibrant window displays.

Jerred was seeing a Gryffindor girl sitting by the window, absolutely caught up in nothing. He wondered what she was doing, but wasn't bothered to walk over.

Grace took her mug of Butterbeer and turrned around. She saw a busy pub full of people and a Griffie sitting in her favourite window seat. "Hey!" she said to the older girl, "want company, or are you happy in dream land?" Silence. "I'm Grace!"

'I think too much time in "Dreamland" is bad for a person..' Carrie began with a grin. 'Take a seat.' She gestured to the vacant spot opposite her and gave a smile. 'I'm Carrie by the way.' Just then the waitress appeared with a butterbeer. 'Ta.' Carrie said with a appreciative smile as the drink was placed in front of her. 'Er, do you want one too Grace?' She asked, thinking she might as well ask the waitress whilst she was there.

Grace smiled at Carrie, "please! That would be lovely!"

Carrie gave a grin. 'Another butterbeer then, if thats alright.' She said to the smiling waitress politely. 'So, up to anything specific in Hogsmede?' The Gryffindor asked, now fully out of her daze. She knew most people just came to Hogsmede for a fun break away from school life, but there was there was no harm in asking, especially she herself had come to specifically buy something.

"I ... uh, I came to look for a book," Grace looked at the table and twiddled her fingers, "a ... uh, muggle book! How 'bout you?"

Grace seemed to almost grow nervous at the question. It had been innocent enough. Carrie thought to herself slightly confused, bringing out the curiousness in her. 'What a coincidence!' She exclaimed with a smile. 'I'm after a book as well! Just to be nosey because I love reading.. which book you looking for?'
Even though Carrie was a pureblood, her father had always taken a keen interest in literacy, and had eventually expanded to muggle works, bringing up Carrie with the likes of Winnie the Pooh when she was younger to Pride & Prejudice now she was older. The Gryffindor smiled as she thought about it all, her true passion being historical novels, whether if was from the wizarding world or not.

"I don't think you'll know it," Grace was almost embarrassed to admit that she was looking for a muggle book living in the wizarding world, "it's ... um, A Room with A View by E.M.Foster . I love Foster. Which are you looking for?"
