Angie was cleaning the tables in Madam Puddifoots and as she was happily humming away to herself an old friend entered...

The antique door of the tea shop gave a small Ting as the Headmistress entered. Wearing robes of deep emerald green, she grinned widely when she noticed the shop waitress. 'Ang!' She exclaimed, hurrying over to the lady to give her a hug. 'How you doing??' She asked with bright and eager eyes.
The pair had been friends since their own Hogwarts days, with the both belonging to the same house. Though it had taken a lot of time, they became the best of friends at school and have many stories to tell because of it. After their seventh year, they lost touch with each other as Esmerelda went travelling for a few years. It was only the previous year in fact, when Es came for a drink in the very same tea shop and was served by Angela, that they met again. Since then, it was like being back in Hogwarts together, with them telling each other about everything over countless cups of tea.
Angie offered Esmerelda a seat near the back of the shop, where they both sat down with a large tray..

"I'm doing great thankyou! yourself? i have to say Es, you have some handsome men at your school, infact i'm suprised your still single, someone as gorgeous as you!" Angie said as she poured them both a cup of her special tea.
"Would you like some biscuits? I've got a fresh batch of cookies going if you'd like?" she asked as she licked her lips.

'That would be great.' The Headmistress replied eagerly, able to smell the gorgeous aroma coming from the kitchen.
Angie was gone for a few moments and returned with a tray of warm chocolate chic cookies. Esmerelda poured the drinks and sat back in her chair sipping her tea. 'So Ang, talking about anyone in particular at Hogwarts?' She said with a mischievious glint in her eye as she watched her friend closely.

Angie giggled and looked down "well...there a just a couple. I haven't really met them, just seen them walk past a few times. what about you anyways? have you got many men on the go?" she asked as she giggled even more, taking a bite out of a biscuit she looked intently at Es.

The Headmistress gave one her characteristic half smiles and raised one eyebrow teasingly. 'Uh no. Noone for me at the moment.' She replied, putting emphasis on the last part of the sentence. 'I'll have to get you meeting them Ang, if you're interested..' She said with laugh, only wanting good things for her friend.
It was at that moment in fact, when coincidently another teacher from Hogwarts came into the shop with a slight Ting. Esmerelda hadn't turned around to see who the new arrival was, but Angie jumped up ready to seat and serve them.

Mandrake walked into the shop and saw the headmistress and Angie. He walked over to Professor Wigglyfish. "This seat taken?" asked Manrdake pointing to the empty chair at the table.

'No, not at all.' The Headmistress replied smiling, with the sudden realisation that the waitress and teacher had probably never met. 'Mandrake this is Angie.. Ang, Mandrake..' She introduced, with gestures to each person. 'Come to join our tea and biscuits feast, eh?' She asked Mandrake with a grin as she offered the tray of refreshments to the other teacher.

Mandrake took a seat. Professor Wigglyfish offered biscuits but Mandrake declined "Already ate." he told her. "Just came in here looking for someone to talk to. So hows it going?" he asked

Esmerelda put her cup of tea down on the saucer to speak. 'Good-' She began. '-most of the time.' The Headmistress replied with a hint of amusement whilst softly smiling. 'How about with you?' She inquired in interest.

"Ive been good. There hasen't been much going on at Hogwarts though. Just a touch boring. Reminds me of the Arabic desert. Listen to me mutter on! How do you think will win in the quidditch match? I favor Griffyindor myself."

'Hmm. I wouldn't say that Hogwarts has been particularly boring!' Esmerelda exclaimed. 'You just must keep missing all the action!' She added laughing. 'As for the quidditch, the match could go easily either way! ((Thought I better stay neutral.. otherwise I'll be moaned at.. haha)) The teams are better than ever this year, well, as you know.. being the one that has trained most of them..!'

"I wouldn't give me credit, they are a very talented group of players. As for missing the action I have had a lot of absences. What kind of action have I been missing anyway?"

'Very modest of you.' She commented with a slightly raised eyebrow and smile, before answering his question. 'Ah.. a few werewolves here and there.. numerous fights.. injuries galore.. you know, just the usual.' She replied with a smirk before lifting her cup for another sip of tea.
