(continueing from the Guild thread when Boggleworth storms out after Grace) Boggleworth stumbled out into the street into the pouring rain, the weather suited his suddenly foul mood. He trudged down the deep rutted road searching for Grace thinking she couldn't have got far. Damn why the hell did I say that! I'm such an idiot and that's putting it lightly Seeing a dark figure up ahead, he ran, splashing dirt up from the puddles spattering his robes, but he didn't care he thought he'd lost Grace and couldn't live with that. Then he saw her up ahead, his being his whole life, some 400m up the dirt track, he ran again breathing heavily pain coursing through his leg. He shouted wildly his voice full of pain "Grace! Grace! come back!" 300m he tripped in a deep rutt landing head first and gashing his cheek, but he didn't notice he just kept on running his lungs shouting out for breath. 200m away now and gaining fast down the long winding dirt track. 100m pain throbbing through his leg, though it seemed distant. 50m the track went round a sharp bend he hurtled round then tripped over a log, perhaps fallen or put there on purpose, nonetheless he sprawled into the ditch at the side of the track, into brambles he tried to break free but he was well and truly stuck...

Grace walked out of the joke shop and saw Bog run past her. When he tripped she walked to him and looked donw upon him. "What are you doing in the dirty, Boggleworth?" she asked, curtly.

"Oh what the hell!" moaned Boggleworth "where did you go? Damn I thought I'd lost you, don't suppose you fancy giving this plonker a hand out?" he chuckled still srambling to try and free himself.

Grace put out her hand and nodded. "I just went to talk to the lady in the joke shop about Puff Chip and what Pygme Puffs eat and all," she blabbed avoiding his eyes as she pulled him up.

"oh!" muttered Boggleworth thoroughly confused and feeling pretty stupid but he was used to it, so he didn't blush. "well let's get out of the rain then!"

Grace nodded, he clothes sticking to her already cold body. She looked at Bog's wet face and walked off towards the castle. She didn't want to speak, she just wanted to curle up in her bed and sleep till she died.

For once Boggleworth kept his mouth shut, he just walked alongside Grace holding her hand, seeing the weary look about her. He also kept a weather eye out for any danger too.

Grace pulled her hand out from Bogs and avoided his gaze. "I'm sorry Bog," Grace said, "I just can't do this now. I need to be on my own."

Boggleworth sighed deeply "ok then," he stopped abruptly and turned back heading back to hogsmeade "see ya later!" he muttered. He began trudging off back to hogsmeade gaze downwards and muttering darkly to himself so nobody could hear. "Bloody hell, what have I done?"

Grace turned and watched Bog walk off. She knew that she could not push him any more with out really hurting him but now (more then anything) she felt on her own. The rain bet down on her cold body and, when Bog had disappeared from view, she walked to a bench and sat down. I'm already wet, so what the hell, she thought getting even more wet.

Boggleworth slipped down a dark alley with the wind whistling through it and the rain still pouring down. He then sat down heavily with his head in his hands. He stared blankly at the building ahead his eyes glaring at it. But then he recovered his senses and muttered "ah sod this!" he clambered to his feet and walked out into the street again. Then he began to trudge back to the school...
