Lisa smiled at him, sensing a bit of tension but changing the subject to something less pressing. "Excited for the first lesson?" She asked cheerfully, her hands dropping her quill as she looked around the room.

"Oh!" She exclaimed, letting out a small, embarrassed laugh. "I tend to just drift off into my own world sometimes," she said before thanking Fin and collecting her quill.

"No problem, always ready to help such a beautiful young lady," he said, bowing towards Lisa.

Lisa grinned and looked at Fin, "Such a charmer," she said teasingly.

Lisa laughed and shook her head. "At least you're not shy and reserved," she said, with a sigh. "It's good to be outgoing, it makes you good company."

"Well, I enjoy being outgoing, that's probably why I usually make the first move in a conversation," he said.

Lisa nodded, twirling her quill between her fingers. "I'm the complete opposite," she said, looking at Fin a bit admirably.

Keaira strolled into the classroom and sat at a table by herself, making sure she could clearly observe all her classmates from the seat. They seemed nice enough, to be sure, but as she had learned, appearances could not be trusted. She recgonized Lisa at once, but preferred not to stick herself into the other girl's conversation with whoever that boy was.
"Hello Professor," Keaira said politely once she had finished her precursory glance. Herbology was one of her favorite subjects, after all; might as well start off on good terms.

Keaira looked at the new boy; she thought she recognized him from somewhere. Better not to dwell on it, though, or she might start staring and lose her head. Idly waiting for class to begin, she took out her Herbology text and began to read.
Well, she corrected herself, reread. It was so hard to put down a good book, after all, and there had been simply nothing to do over summer break.
