Thom immedaitely set about straightening himself out, running a hand through his dishelleved hair and tugging down the em of his coat. Clearing his throat he looked at Lisa, his face bright red. He had completely lost whatever charm he had managed to work on her, no doubt. Looking at Boggleworth, he muster a friendly smile, one that said there was no hard feelings. "I'll have to agree with that - I suppose I'm not the only conjourer of cheap tricks (( stolen right out of LOTR )) around here!" he shook his head appraisingly.

Thom took no chances this time, and inspected Boggleworth's hand from all sides before finally assuming that this time it was safe. He clasped the Hufflepuff's hand earnstly and grinned. "None that will last." he winked.

A bolt of magical energy flew threw Boggleworth's arm into Thom gving him a jolt. Boggleworth laughed "fell for the oldest trick in the book!" he roared with laughter "Only joking but no honestly don't use spells on me, otherwise it'll create a bad impression!"

Thom's feet practically left the ground for a moment as a minor electric shock passed through his arm and up and down his torso. "B-b-b-b-bloody h-h-h-hell!" he stuttered as it dyed away.
For a moment he stared at Boggleworth, eyes wide, mouth gawping, hair slighlty on end. "Th-thanks for that," he said weakly, then began to laugh.

Lisa stared at Boggleworth in shock, her eyes shining with mirth. "I'll never understand how you came to be a prefect," She said, shaking her head. "I'm willing to bet you cause the most trouble around here!" She grinned.
((I figured we were just outside the Gryffindor common room- not in it- but I now realize, even if that were the case, I had just spilled it's location. My mistake, sorry!))

Thom grinned at Lisa. "He's a right one, isn't he?" he winked.
The bell suddenly rang, and the three of them were pushed up against the wall as students big and small came hurtling out of the classroom doors, pushing and shoving their way along, desperate to get into the sunshine for lunch.
Thom was relieved he nor Lisa and Boggleworth had been caught skipping their own lessons.

Watching the students pile out into the corridor, she blinked stupidly for a moment. Her original plan had been to miss Ancient Runes- Snape really did give her quite a fright- and sneak down to the common room to finish up a Potions essay that was due after the lunch break.
"I hadn't even realised how much time had passed!" She said worriedly, walking along the hallway. "It's been a pleasure as always, Thom. See you soon, Bogs!" Then, she broke off into a frantic run, almost tripping over a group of First-Years excitedly discussing their Transfiguration lesson.

"Bye!" Thom called, disheartened at her leave. (( Hey, go join the 'sunbathing' thread by the lake. Moncrieff says something good is going to happen! ))

(I'll be there!) "see ya Lisa!" shouted Boggleworth then turning to Thom he said "now I have you all alone, you are at my mercy! So haven't you a lesson to go to?" he chortled.

Thom smiled innocently, hoping that the two of them had warmed to each other enough so as not to get into trouble. "Well, Anicent runes never has been anyones strong point has it? I was intending to do a little... shall we say, private study?"
What Thom really meant was that he intended to go down to the lake and drink vast quantities of fire whiskey, before stumbling off to the infirmiry to complain of stomach pains, thus avoiding his lessons for the rest of the day.

"I'm sorry to say this but my inner prefect is screaming out. I'm afraid I shall have to escort you to your lesson, you may loath it, but you still must go." he grinned looking at shocked surprise on Thom's face "Now that's what I should say, but I'd prefer to join you, no I'm afraid this time my inner prefect will fail, as usual now where is your usual place for private study?" he enquired.
