[C] Patrolling around the Gryffindor common room

Lisa brushed off her robes, laughing pleasantly at the expression on Bog's face. "I'm surprised these didn't scare you away!" She said, wiggling her pink fingertips once more and grinning at Thom. She looked at them wonderingly for a moment, "I can't even tell what charm this is!" She said, sounding slightly impressed. "Plus, I was too excited over the idea of another meeting to expect an exploding invitation!"

Then remembering where they were, Lisa looked over at Thom with raised eyebrows. "And just what are you doing around the Gryffindor common room?" She asked, biting her lip to keep from grinning, a knowing look in her eye. "Not spying I hope!"

(( We're in the corridor last time I checked *points up*, but if you say so haha! ))

"Erm..." he chewed his lip thoughtfully. "I sort of eavesdropped on a group of younguns earlier... picked up the password in the process." he looked quickly at Bog and Lisa for their reaction. "A word beginning with 'w' I believe?"

Inside he grinned at his own cunning. He should have been a Slytherin if it weren't for his boneidleness.

Boggleworth grimaced "it's a damn good job you don't know the whole password, otherwise I'd be forced to report you even though you're a friend! So what have you to say in your defence?" Boggleworth said mock sternly.

[Thom Moen]

Thom cleared his throat, stalling. "Well... I... I'm too... lazy to actually make this access work to my advantage?" he asked himself out loud. "Look! I've been here for about five minutes and I still haven't set the place on fire." he smiled innocently.

[Henry Boggleworth]

"Well I never! That is a surprise! Don't play the innocent with me, it won't work!" he laughed at Thom.
"Don't worry I will get you into trouble when I want to!" he chuckled.

"My, my - Boggleworth has a tendancy towards treachery against his fellow Hufflepuffs!" He pretended to be shocked, clasping his hands to his cheeks. "Well then, no suprise what you're really doing in here, hmm? A closet Gryffindor!"

[Henry Boggleworth]

"Treachery! Me, you overstep yourself my dear Thom! Though it may just be jest you may be showing your true feelings! My loyalties lie formost with friends then prefects and Hufflepuffs!" He mock sternly stood with hands on his hips looking down intently at Thom his brown eyes flashing.

(What do you mean 'looking down ' - Thom's older than you, he's a giant. ))

Thom laughed airly. "I should have known. I suppose not all Hufflepuffs can be like me." he said as if to be Thom was anything to be proud of. "Care to name these friends? Would I be one?" he asked sweetly.

[Henry Boggleworth]

(Boggleworth is very tall actually and he's 17, but he can also do taht thing with your eyes making him at least seem smaller if he isn't actually taller already!)
"Nobody can be like you! You're...unique I'll say to be diplomatic! And we shall just have to see, maybe you will be a friend or maybe you won't!" he teased grinning at Thom.

(( "do that thing with your eyes" - what, pluck them out so I can't tell? ))

Thom nodded graciously. "Well I'll definintely have to work on that, won't I? Staring off, here's you're prefect badge back..." Thom raised his hand, which had previously been concealed at his side, and handed the shinny badge to Boggleworth. "I sort of nabbed it when I offered you kiss..." he laughed nervously.

"I was wondering when you'd pluck up the courage to hand that back!" chuckled Boggleworth.
"Not the cleverest thing you've ever done Mr Moen, I'd advise you not to do it again, other people would get annoyed and I don't want Hufflepuf to loose points, as for me I admire your stupidity, no it's not bravery and your knack at stealing, which I shall have to look out for in future!" Boggleworth held out his hand for the badge muttering under his breath, now the badge would be stuck in Thom's hand.
"Come on hand it over! I haven't got all day!"

Thom's ears tinted red. "Well - give me some credit. At least called it fearless, if not brave! I could have got into trouble!" he said.

Thom opened his palm to drop the badge into Boggleworth's hand, and waited. And waited. He shook his hand a little. And waited. Withdrawing his hand he looked at it, confused. "What the Merlin..." he tried handing it back to Boggleworth.

When the badge would still not take leave, Thom began to throw his arm about frantically, looking utterly stupid. "It won't come off!" he yelped.

Boggleworth couldn't stop his slight grin but he didn't laugh he said sternly
"Now stop this tomfoolery Thom, give me my badge, hand it over otherwise I'll be forced to take points off Hufflepuff!"

Thom began to fall apart. "What? Oh lord, erm... I can't! Honestly Boggleworth it isn't coming off!" Thom's dance began to get a little more eleborate, and not only was he panicking, his temper was lfaring.

OFF YOU STUPID THING - OFF!!! he screamed at it in his head.

He was very red in the face now. "Don't take points, Boggleworth! It's not my fault, it's bloody stuck." he pleaded gently, finally giving up to take a breather.

Boggleworth smiled ok this has gone far enough he thought. He muttered the counter-spell and took the badge from Thom's hand.
"Now let that be a lesson to you, don't mess with prefects, especially me! Sorry but it will work as a reminder to you, humiliation is a good cure to mischief. Think of it as a favour, anyone else and it would have been points off!" He laughed at the look on Thom's face.
"And it shows you're not the only mischeveous one, think of me as an insider!" he chortled "but I never said that!"
