Brandon peeked behind the arched entrance to the corridor, a worried expression on his face. Seeing another long, empty hallway, he let out a small groan, before sliding down the wall and sitting uselessly in a random part of the castle. Putting his face in his hands he shook his head. "I hate new schools."

Keifer was walking through the corridors when he spotted Brandon and heard him say he hated new schools. "They're not that bad" he smiled "Come on, ill show you around if you like"

Looking at Keifer through slightly watery eyes, he brushed his sleeve across his face as unnoticeably as he could and lowered his gaze. "I can't find any of my classes..." He said softly, "I think I've missed almost all of them!" Then, hearing his offer, he sent him a hopeful gaze and pushed himself up off the floor. "Please! If you have the time.. of course."

He smiled at Brandon "Come one" he laughed "I wouldnt have offered if i didnt have time and besides... I always make time for friends who need me" He thought about it "Well... Come with me in this direction and ill take you to the potions area" He looked at his watch "Im pretty sure you've missed them so it wouldnt hurt to miss the last 10 minutes of... whatever it is you have"

Brandon walked alongside Keifer, glancing at him every now and then, but always quickly looking away. "Nice of you..." he said with a smile, trying to memorize the hallways they took. "Too bad... Hopefully I'll be excused. And, this is much more enjoyable than Arithmancy anyway, I bet."

Keifer looked at Brandon "yeah, Arithmancy is quite unenjoyable. Care of the magical creatures is interesting. Professor Didier brought out a manticore... or somthing like that anyway" He laughed glancing away, then glancing back at him.

Brandon noticed Keifer looking at him and bit his lip, feeling his face grow hot. "Oh...yeah... manticore." He said, trying not to let his nerves show in his voice. "Sounds interesting. Better than magical properities of numbers.. and all that." He paused, feeling a small smile on his lips. "So, where are we now?"

Keifer smiled at Brandon, he heard the nervous tone in his voice but didnt say anything. "The dungeons" he pointed to a door and stood and faced him "Thats potions"

"Potions." Brandon repeated, counting the doors before it so he knew which to choose next time he had potions. "These dungeons are kind of creepy, huh?"

"Yeah they are" He said "Come on, ill take you to.. hmm transfiguration now" he suggested still looking at Brandon. He looked around "Unless theres anywhere in spacific who want to go"

Brandon sighed, feeling his mood grow solemn as he thought about his old Transfiguration teacher, and how his best friend and him tried their hardest to become animagi... Failed, of course! But it was fun. Deciding Transfiguration wasn't the best place to go in his current, homesick state, he smiled up at Keifer, or at least tried to, hoping he didn't notice the small change in his mood.
"What about where we eat? I always get lost trying to find the Great Hall..."

Keifer laughed "That.. would be difficult" he told him "Each house has their own tables.. We wouldnt be able to eat together, but we can go if you like and meet up again later?"

Brandon tilted his head to one side, feeling a bit off about having to eat with other people, ones that he wasn't uncomfortable. He looked up at Keifer, "I am kind of hungry... But..." He looked away shyly, "We can't eat together? I'd rather...." He trailed off, "Maybe I'll just skip tonight's meal," he said gloomily.

Keifer shrugged "You can sit with me if you want. Theres no law against it i dont think" he smiled "Join me at the Ravenclaw table!" He laughed "So where to then?"

Brandon looked at Keifer a bit wistfully before smiling, his eyes downcast. "How about outside?" He blushed faintly. "I haven't really seen the lake or anything, and I'm really sick of seeing all these corridors! They all look the same." He pouted slightly.
