Helia sat down in an empty corridor, writing in her little leather bound journal: 'If the oppsite of hate is love, and the oppsite of love is apathy, would that mean that you can only hate someone you love? By that theory then, saying you hated someone would be an even grander gesture than saying you loved them. At the same time, saying you hate someone is the most sincere form of anger, would that mean that anger is the most sincere form of love?' she sighed and chewed on the end of her pencil, not paying attention to the fact that someone was reading over her shoulder...

Ugh. He was being curious, again.
Kieron wasn't usually nosy. In fact, he kept to himself most of the time and never got into anyone elses business. But this gave energy to his curiousity. Now, he didn't expect to find anybody in the empty corridors, which is why he had decided to take a walk. But, as he walked down through the emptiness of the many corridors that Hogwarts had to offer, he spotted another student sitting by herself. She appeared to be..writing something? He could tell that the book she was writing in was a journal of sorts, since he had owned a few journals himself in the past.
'Kieron, get past your thickheadedness and introduce yourself! It wouldn't hurt to make a friend or two.' He thought, a slight sigh escaping his lips. So, walking over, he glanced down and over her shoulder and watched her write, staying quiet then talking out of the blue. "I see that you possibly enjoy writing?" The wizard asked, a slight smirk on his lips, although it didn't show too much. Hopefully, he wouldn't startle her /too/ much with his presence. Blame his curiousity for him being there!

She looked up and laughed slightly, "Yeah. I like writing, it keeps me out of trouble... sometimes." she rolled her eyes sarcastically. "I don't think we've met yet, I'm Helia." she said standing up and holding out a hand. The Gryffindor looked familiar, but she couldn't think of where she'd seen him before... then it hit her. "Aren't you in Professor Moncrieffs divinasion class?"

Kieron laughed lightly and took her hand, shaking it politely. "Pleasure to meet you Helia. I'm Kieron." The wizard replied, raising a slight eyebrow at her most recent question, then chuckled and nodded. "Yes, I'm in his class. You're in it as well, correct? I think I've seen you there before, but maybe I'm thinking wrong?" He ran a couple of fingers through his hair sheepishly, looking at Helia and waiting for her response to his question. It was quite strange actually, since he didn't really talk to people all the time, but she seemed friendly enough.

"Yup. I think it's very interesting. I'm just sad that he won't be able to teach it anymore..." she said thinking about how the teacher had been blinded. She raised an eyebrow at Kieron, noticing how nervous he acted, "Something wrong?"

Kieron chuckled and shook his head, offering a smile. "Oh! No, nothings wrong. Don't worry about it." He frowned suddenly, thinking about the professor's condition. "Yeah..Divination is a really interesting subject. I really enjoy it, although i'm not very good at it. Hopefully somehow he'll be able to teach it again to us." The wizard commented, looking down the corridor. It was awkardly quiet. "But anyways.." He paused for a moment, looking at her again. "What is your favorite subject here at Hogwarts so far?" Okay, dull question, but at least it'd keep the conversation going.

"It was divination... but now I'm enjoying History of Magic." she said, remembering the most recent lesson taught by Professor Erikkson. "And you?"

"Hey Halo! How's it going" Fin said as he walked toward them. He also noticed the person he had walked in on with professor Algernon. "Oh, hey uhhhhh, I'm terribly sorry, but I never got your name."

"Hey Fin." she said with a smile as she pocketed her journal.

"Hmm, well." Kieron thought for a moment. "Divination is still my favorite, but since there haven't been classes, i'd say Defense Against the Dark Arts is my favorite class right now." He replied, offering a smile to the other sixth year. Hearing another voice suddenly, he turned to face Fin, whom he had seen before. "Oh, hello. No worries. It's Kieron." He recognised him to be the one he and the professor had talked with and offered a slight nod in recognisation. Looking down the corridor once again, he placed his hands into his robe pockets.

She looked between the two boys, "Did I miss something?" she asked, feeling like there was some secret that hadn't gotten to the entire school.

"Uhhh, it's nothing," he said, looking at Kieron. "Sooooooo, talkin' about your favourite classes, eh?"

Kieron looked slightly disturbed at the question, but quickly shook his head at Helia. "Er, no, it's nothing. No need to ask." He replied in a hurry with the smallest hint of color of his cheeks, looking to Fin as he heard him asking him a question, offering a light chuckle to the other student. "Somewhat. A couple of other things as well, but yes. We were talking about which classes we liked." The wizard replied casually, shrugging his shoulders and being honest.

"I miss divination, but since then I've found favor with HoM class." she nodded. "The people living way back when were all insane."
