Kandler had been staring off into nothing. His thoughts had just suddenly crammed through and whne he heard a small distant voice he jumped slightly and smiled. "What? oh...no I'm still good>"

"Are you sure?" she asked not trying to pry. She didn't want anything to be bothering him but that was a little hard to tell someone she liked. Now she knew why she had been acting strange. She had a crush on him and she hadn't even noticed. She was a smart girl and this simple thing had slipped her mind. Her thoughts turned upon the fact of him knowing. Did he know? She had hoped not.

Kandler took in a long slow deep breath and sat on the edge of the bed watching Alondra. "Yeah, just convincing myself to stay standing...well awake now." He gave a small chuckle

She smiled a bit and said. "You can sleep." she said. "I wouldn't want to keep you up." She knew how exhausted they must be, especially him who had been running around the whole evening for her.

Kandler shook his head smiling. "no. I will be fine here, awake." He spoke quietly still just incase she was still in pain. "Sleeping is not really on my to do list."

"Hmm." she hummed quietly. "What would that to do list be?" She had nothing else to talk about which was odd because she was usually full of opinion and quarries. He completely silenced her train of thought.

Kandler laughed and watched her. "To try and stay awake. You see I happen to be haunted by the past when I sleep. So I tend to stay awake for days and then sleep for a few hours and go for another few days and then sleep for a full day."

"Interesting fatigue pattern." she teased and a smile graced her lips. It was mainly because she knew she wasn't alone now in seeing things in her dreams. "It's dangerous to hide from your dreams." she said softly.

"Yes, but when you'd rather not see the same thing over and over and potions stop working you just can't help to do so." He said softly watching the smile that touched her lips.

"I suppose even your mind becomes immune." she said. "I wouldn't know though, I try not to hide from them. Normally they come in handy, like..." She didn't finish when she found herself pouring out her dream from her last sleep. She wanted to tell someone and she supposed he had a right to know, he was in it, but she didn't want to scare him away too.

"Nevermind." she said but then decided on not hiding it. "I had a dream about you and Lisa. It wasn't very pleasant." she told him feeling a little sick to her stomach remembering. She didn't mention how her dreams were normall true visions of the future, very rarely the past.

He put a hand to her cheek and gave a awrm smile. "Nothing is going to happen to either of us. I can make that a promise if you want."

She smiled and non-hesitantly touched his hand lightly. "I hope not." she whispered. She looked at him with worried eyes trying to believe nothing would happen.
