Kim paced infront of the room of requirement waiting for the door to appear. Her fathers study back home had been locked and she was guessing this was the only way she could get in there. She wanted to look at his journel so badly it was unbelievable.
The door came about and she filled with exitement. For a little while she just stood there. She put her hand on the handle and walked in, not closing the door behind her strait away. Somebody else followed her in without her noticing. The darkened room was exactly as her father had left it three years ago. She had always promised herself she'd find the truth out eventually. There was more to her father, more to herself than she had ever told anyone. She needed to know if it was true.
She began rummaging through his things. On his desk stood the picture of the family. Everyone was smiling and waving. Kim grunted in discust and threw it on the floor. She carried on rummaging when someone said something she didnt quite hear. She spun round "Whos there? And how the hell did you get in here?" She demanded

"How'd I know you'd come begging for the Room of Requirement?" Prof Addis said, appearing from out of thin air. "You simple have no idea how easy it is to follow someone as yourself. Now before you shout, scream or get angry, calm down. You need an idea why your father ran way and took your sister with him... here." He threw her a diary, which she caught easily. "I read it briefly, each time he put in an entry, it seemed to me he was going slightly insane."

Kim caught the diary. "So you now admit youve been following me? Care to share why" she walked upto him "And dont you ever tell me to be calm! How dare you go through my fathers things and how dare you say he's insane! What the hell is your problem?" She went and sat on the cushy armchair "You didnt even know the guy"

"Perhaps, I didn't, possibly my mother did." Leigh said, leaning against the wall. "My problem is I'm concerned for my families well being." He said, glaring at Kim. "Didn't you that my mother is your fathers distant cousin?"

"So what if she is?" She flipped open the diary and skimmed through it "But that means what to you? big deal you mother might have known my father, maybe your mother knew a lot of wizards. But even so, that still doesnt give you the right to read my dads things. Thats your choice though"

"Maybe you should learn that you don't have to do a thing on your own, when there are those who know what your struggling with and are willing to help you through it. "Alright then... Tell me, what is happening here to us or whatever cause i dont have a clue. All i know is theres something in this diary that might help me understand some things" She stood up and began pacing "And what do you know? I mean what did you read?"

Leigh stopped as he opened the door. He looked down then looked over his shoulder back at Kim. "I didn't read anything, just found it. As far as I know, bad things are happening, Kim, for us all. Now, I big your farewell." Leigh walked out the room, into the dank corridor, shutting the door behind him, returning to his office.

Kim watched him go. "Well you clearly know more than i do. How annoying" she walked back over to the chair and flipped open her dads diary. She read the first page. He was twittering on about this that and the other. She skimmed through the pages and landed on a page with a picture of a werewolf. "F.G? Why is he writing about him." She read through the page and slammed it shut. She started to go pale and now wished she hadnt have read it. She felt sick. He was insane... She ran out of the room slamming the door shut behind her. Out of one rut... into another
