[L] Rambles of nonsense

[Helia Ollivander]

Helia lay on her back in the very center of the library, a lamp beside her was tilted up at a book that was hovering over her head. She had been reading through Shakespeares novels recently, becoming quite intrigued by the plays and how he portrayed his characters, but mostly she enjoyed taking his long monologues and turning them into nonsense. She wasn't really paying attention to much, rather being caught up in her own thoughts and began to ramble "...To be or not to be, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the minds of professors to treat peers equally, or safer to ones own sanity to fly off the rocker and run back to austria..." her gaze drifted through the book into some unseen world. She had recieved a letter that morning from her brother, he had asked if she wanted to get an early internship with him at the dragon reserve and she nearly jumped at the offer... but then she began thinking. It had been a problem with her lately, thinking. She wondered if anyone really would miss her if she left. After talking with Malfoy the other day, she wasn't so sure... She and Brian hadn't spoken since she ditched him at the lake. Kim had been all kinds of dark and mysterious lately. She wasn't even sure if her new friends like Bog or Girty would care. Was she really so forgetable? She sighed and sat up, the book dropped into her lap. She stood and placed it back on the empty space in the 'muggle novel' shelf. She began pacing the aisles of books... trying to do anything but think.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"Thinking of leaving, without me" L.C stated as she walked to wear Helia was standing. "You were practically like my first friend here" she added with a sadness that shined through her eyes.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Oh, hey L.C., what do you mean?" she asked, having not noticed that anyone had paid attention to her ramblings. "I'm not planning on leaving." then her mind wandered back to her brothers letter, "Not entirely, anyways..." her eyes glazed over slightly. She was torn, she loved her brother, and she loved dragons, and getting an internship like this was insanely lucky! He had to have pulled some major strings with his supervisor to give her this chance... but at the same time, she wanted to finish school, and she still wanted to run her own wand shop eventually, but since it was only an internship she was sure there'd be time to make wands... wouldn't there? She looked at L.C. 'Well... maybe someone would miss me...' she thought.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"What exactly do you mean by not entirely?" L.C asked. "Besides, if your going I'm going with you." she stated more informatively. "Where might we be going in Austria?" she curiously wondered.

[Helia Ollivander]

She laughed, reached into ther pocket and pulled out a pale green letter with dark gold writing on it. She handed it to L.C., "This ought to explain..." The letter read:
Helia you'll never believe it! After reading your last letter about how uncomfortable you've been feeling at school, I spoke with my supervisor and he said as long as you have our parents permission and I or one of the other keepers is with you at all times you can get an early internship. I know this is sudden, and I know you want to finish school and I know you love all your friends there, but please... think about it sis.

"It's not that I don't love everyone and everything here... it's just the few things that I don't love I really truly dislike... and they tend to keep popping up everywhere..." her eyes glistened with a deep anger. "Besides, Ive been nothing but trouble since I got here and I'm sure the teachers would all appreciate a break from me. And I'd only be gone a month... most likely... but why do you want to come? You've got friends out the wazoo, you do the best in your classes, why do you want to leave?"

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"Honestly, I just think I need a break, and besides I wouldn't want you being lonely" Lauretta said laughing. The Slytherin girl only had about eight true, true friends here so she didn't know what Halo was talking about. " You owe me a trip anyways cuz your coming to Italy with, even if I have to use force." L.C joked, laughing slighty.

[Helia Ollivander]

She laughed and started to say 'Well it's settled then, we're taking a vacation.' then thought back to the lake and the talk about the trip to Italy and started wondering about the family lifestyles and such, "I-I don't know. I don't know if you'd like Austria very much..." she lied. She was just so worried about what people... not people... what her friends, would think about her if they knew how her family lived.

" Oh nonsense, home is where the heart is, but vacationing is so much more fun, especially when you have a true friend to enjoy it with you" she said looking at the worried girl. "Besides I'm always up for a good adventure, and handling Dragons seems like one" she added.

[Helia Ollivander]

She nods slowly, "Well, okay then. But... just don't say I didn't warn you, okay?" she didn't know how much luxury L.C. was used to living in, but she hoped she wouldn't be too uncomfortable in her family's little house. "So, I guess we better go pack then?" she asked with a chuckle. She was starting to get really excited.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

"Guess so" she said, picking Halo off of the floor and linking arms with her. As she began skipping around the library, dragging Helia along. She then asked "why do I have the sudden urge to sing we're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"Because it's very fitting!" she laughed and started singing, "Weee're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oooz." she continued laughing and skipped along merrily.

[Professor Lauretta Mericcini]

" Because, because, because, because- because all the wonderful things he does" L.C finished the song with that, and laughter erupted.
