Keifer looked at the book. "Ironic" he said, pretending he knew what she was on about. He looked at Brandon and gave him a quizzical look before finally turning to her "Why's it ironic?"

"Well," Grace was taken aback by the question. She knew that she found it ironic but actually having to explain why it was was tricky. "Well," she repeated, "the Empire was separated by the death of their king, hence the breaking, something that was out of their control. Then the gods shunned them from their-'' she flapped her hands around, looking for the right word "-domain, but the author called it their fall from Grace. That was something that they brought upon themselves." Grace thought about what she had just babbled, "come to think of it, it wasn't that ironic... the only reason why I even picked it up was because it has my name in the title." She shrugged and smiled, "must have been a brain fart!"

He listened to Grace, his mouth hanging open in a small -o- shape. He looked to Brandon, then back at Grace, then at Brandon again "Did you... uh... get a word of that?" He asked "Cause i know i didnt" He sat down on the table with his head in his hands "..." He slowly lifted his head up and looked to Grace "Dont... do that to me again"

Grace giggled, "I'm sorry! Bubble head me always babbling on about nothing at all!" She gasped, "there I go again! Will make a mental note on that!" She nodded.

She bit her lips, hiding her tongue. She sobered quickly and nodded. After a moments silence she added, "sorry!'' she lowered her head but kept eye contact with Keifer, becoming wide eyed and puppy like.

He looked at her and smiled before sliding off the table and giving her a hug. "Aww Gracie! Its alright, if you werent so ditzy you wouldnt be our little Grace would you?" He smiled

Grace giggled innocently. She stretched out her arms and put them around his neck and hugged him back. She was speechless, clueless as what to say next, she couldn't think of witty and charming to say. So she stopped hugging him and said, "you have stunned me into silence, Mr Bently. I haven't got anything witty or charming to say!" She lifted a cold hand and rumpled his fringe with and evil giggle.

Keifer laughed "Thats my charm.. Right there, stunning people into silence" He felt her mess his fringe up, just as he had finally got it right. He looked at her "I... am... going to cry! That was pure evil Miss Marks!" he looked at her and screwed his face up as if he was going to cry

She frowned and gapped like a guppy. "Oh, I'm sorry, Keif, I didn't mean- well I did mean to but I didn't mean to upset you!" She bit her lower lip and tried to fix his fringe. She frowned even more and started chewing the side of her lip in concentration. Finally, she stood back and looked at it, "sorry! You should probably fix it! I'm useless!"

Keifer took his brush from the table and looked at Grace with wide eyes. He slowly and pretend-sulkily ran the brush through his hair before yelling "I NEED HAIRSPRAY!!!"

"Oh, I'm dreadfully sorry!" Grace said slapping her knee and klicking her fingers, "I must have left my hairspray in my other jacket! Damb!"

Keifer looked at her "You... cant be serious!?" He slunk down into the chair and looked all sulky. "Never mind" he began faffing with his fringe trying to make it do something. His hair was the most important thing to him... Untill he found something else anyway.
