Maddie entered the library. She was eager to do some studying and catch up on reading. She found the bookshelf she was looking for and skimmed the spines of the books until she found something that was interesting. She pulled it from the shelf and found a table near the window and sat down. She opened the book and began reading.

Carrie was sat at a library table, and finally put her book down to have a small stretch. With a yawn, she looked ahead and saw a Ravenclaw girl who could have been there all day for all she knew - far too engrossed in her book! Looks like I'm not the only avid reader round here. She thought, as she bent her head slightly to take a peek at the girls book cover.
She gave a slight gasp. 'I love that book!' She blurted out before she could stop herself. The ravenclaw looked up and Carrie smiled. 'Hi, er, sorry.' She paused. 'I'm Carrie.'

Maddie looked up.
"Oh hey," she said. "Mine too! I'm Maddie Lynn Bensen."
She introduced.
"Have a seat," she said eagerly gesturing to the seat across from her.
She leaned forward.
"So what subjects do you have?"

'Ah, just all the compulsory ones.' Carrie said rolling her eyes slightly. 'I've still gotta wait till I get to choose only a few!' She grinned. 'Though I do enjoy Potions and DADA particularly. How about you, what lessons do you have?' Carrie inquired, pleased to have something other than studying to do in the library.
