[L] Runes

[Helia Ollivander]

"Wonderful, simply amazing, bra-VO!" she applauded with feigned enthusiasm. "Now what's it say?" she looked over the book but could make nothing of it. She made a face, "I don't think runes will ever be my thing." she shook her head, not particularly worried about it anyways. Her preferred profession had nothing to do with runes anyhow, but puzzles were always fun, and if this did turn out to be a clue to a password to a puzzle to some sort of amazing thing, it would be very cool indeed.

He flipped through the pages until he seemed to find the right page, another covered in unusual symbols. "Lets see," he said running a hand down the page. "This is it, definetly," he mumbled. "It discusses an ancient wizarding order," he continued on reading insilence for a few minutes.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Wizarding order?" she asked becoming ever more intrigued. "Do you mean some sort of freakish old social club, or more as in a secret society that would have all sorts of ancient spells and hexes and potions that could... okay I'm not exactly sure where I was going with that but... anyways, details?"

He stared at her oddly as she named them all off and waited another second before responding. "It looks more like some sort of secret order," he went on, flipping the page. "Or so I'd assume, no decent wizard would come up with such ellaborate curses, hexes, and whatnot," he said studying the page.

"What else does it say? Anything about where they originated or who their leader was?"

[adrian]

"Hm, no..." he said after another minute's pause. "No clan name, no member name, nothing but their doings and other meaningless information," he went on. "But maybe theres a clue to where we can find something else out, a little more detailed information," he said flipping pages.

[Helia Ollivander]

She nodded slightly, then looked at her watch, "Oh, snap. It's almost time for the ball. I've got to go, but maybe if you find naything else out on the wizarding order I could help with more research on it? Bye... oh, um... what's your name?" she felt slightly dumb, having such a long conversation with someone and not knowing their name.

He smiled, slightly amused be her 'Oh snap!' expression, something he'd use sometimes to entertain his friends back home. "It all depends on how long I decide to look, my ban isn't that long," he said standing up and closing the book. He wasn't allowed to take any of them with him, even if they weren't restricted. He hadn't been allowed to check out books since... 4th year? He'd forgotten. "Oh, I'm Adrian," he said finally before he drifted off any more.

She smiled, "Well, I'm Helia, and very late, so I guess I'll see you around." she waved and scurried off to ready herself for the masked formal ball.
