Carrie entered the library, and headed straight for a vacant table she had spotted near the back. She had figured that if she came to the library she wouldn't get distracted and therefore finally get round to doing some of her homework. Slumping herself in the seat, she relunctantly pulled out her Divination text book and a couple pieces of parchment. The Gryffindor turned to page 40 and grabbed her favourite emerald green feathered quill out of her pocket.
It was fifteen minutes later that she realised she had not read a single thing, but in fact had just been staring pointlessly at the page as she thought about other, more interesting things. She decided to take a different approach and began writing down a title on the parchment. She had just managed to write down The five different ways to.., before she leant back in her chair again and began twiddling her quill between her fingers.

Boggleworth entered the library and strolling over to Carrie he said "not having much luck studying eh? I just don't bother!"
He took a seat opposite Carrie hoping to start up a conversation with her...

'I've tried that plan once before..' Carrie said with an amused smile. 'The teachers don't seem to like it so much.' She said with a laugh. It was true.. she had never been detention so much in one week. 'So you know why I'm here..' She said glancing at her books with a sour look on her face. 'If you're not one for studying, what you up to in here then?' She said feeling slightly curious.

'Haha.. Coming for a chat in the library.' Carrie began with a grin. 'The Librarians not gonna like that!' She said with a smile, thinking about the many times she had purposely stomped her way around the library to turn the sneer of the Slytherin Head of House even more sour.

'That depends.' Carrie began still twiddling her quill around. 'What sort of thing you're in to.' She glanced to the bookshelves nearby. 'For example, if you're in to Quidditch, theres a good few books in the second stand over there.' She said nodding towards the shelf, knowing it very well. 'Which Broomstick? always a good read if you don't mind being envious of all the great brooms in it.' She said with a smile. 'What sort of thing are you looking for?' The Gryffindor asked.

"yeah quidditch sounds good I'll have a look!" answered Boggleworth as he jumped up by mistake shoving the table and making all Carries belongings go flying up into the air...

Carrie let out a small yell of surprise as all her belongings went flying up into the air, only to come crashing down in various places.. including her head. Laughing, she picked up the Divination volume that had nearly knocked her out and rubbed her forehead where a small bump was forming. She looked over to Henry, and laughed once more to see Henry bearing a very similar mark on his own head.

Gaia snuck into the library and looked for a friendly face. She saw Carrie sat with a boy she did not recognise. "Carrie!" Gaia called out, then winced when she realised she was in the library and Dr Bunchington would more that likely rip her to pieces.

'Hey Gaia.' Carrie said with a grin. 'Haven't seen you about in ages! This is Henry by the way..' She said, offering the chair next to her for the other Hufflepuff to sit in. 'Just picking up my things.. after a little accident.' She said with an amused smile as she finally found her favourite quill that she had flung up in the air in her surprise, and had become wedged in the bookcase beside her.

"Hiya Henry!" Gaia said overenthusiasctally (sp?) then giggled at her own oddity. "Sorry i've been at home with a bad case of exploding boils for the last few months. I'm still getting pus out of my hair."
Gaia then stroked her overzealously greasy hair to demonsrate.
