[GH: R] The Ravenclaw Table

[Helia Ollivander]

Halo walked into the Great Hall in hopes of getting a snack before her next class. She found a chocolate chip muffin and started munching on it. She decided to practice the Exdamentia spell again. She aimed her wand at the ground by her feet and said, "Caninic Exdamentia" she smiled as red sparks came out of the tip of her wand, swirling around until a little black scotty dog sat by her feet. It wagged its tial and barked at her. She picked it up and put it in her lap, petting it while she finished her muffin.

[James McFinnigan]

A dog's barking woke Fin up from under the table with a start, nearly banging his head, but stopping just it time. "Nice save," he said to himself, and proceded to get up off the ground on which he was lying. He noticed a Ravenclaw girl, whom he hadn't met yet. "Hey, that your dog?" he asked.

[Helia Ollivander]

She looked at the boy, then at the dog and back, "Not exactly, but you could call it that." she shrugged. "It's a spell I'm practising for Defense Adainst the Dark Arts class."

[James McFinnigan]

"Ah. Of course you are...makes perfect sense, you're studying for DADA, so you make a dog...yep! Nothin' odd about that!"

[Helia Ollivander]

"I take it you missed the first lesson? Ah, well. The Professors father invented a spell that creates living breathing animals that need no food or water or cleaning up after. Fascinating really. He says that you can command the animals to do whatever you want and they'll obey as long as you were the one who created it." she looked down at the little dog in her lap. "I just hope I can get good enough that I can create dragons like he does."

[James McFinnigan]

"I've seen his dragons. Not that impressive. So, the dog got a name?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"I hadn't really thought about it," she said, "I guess he ought to have one though"

[James McFinnigan]

"Uh huh." Fin seemed somewhat uninterested now, as if something else had just entered his mind. Suddenly, he seemed to come out of his trance. "Say, I got a mattress in my dorm that I don't want, you want it?"

[Helia Ollivander]

"Um, what?" she asked, a very confused look on her face.

[James McFinnigan]

"You see, I'm not too fond of mattresses...so I was wondering if you'd like moine."

[Helia Ollivander]

"Sure, if nothing else I'll use it to mattress surf from ravenclaw tower to the ground floor."

[James McFinnigan]

"Cool, I'll drop it off tonight at the girl's dorm for ya'."

[Helia Ollivander]

"Thanks. That'd be great."
