[GH: H] Breakfast

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa yawned, rubbing her eyes. She had stayed up past one in the morning finishing a number of essays and was extremely tired. Running a hand through her hair, Lisa allowed herself to sit at the end of the Hufflepuff table in the Great Hall, a large yawn escaping her mouth once more.

Turning bleary eyes to the numerous items on the table, Lisa's eyes travelled to the coffee. She had never tried any form of coffee before, but heard the caffine helped you stay awake. Taking the pot, she poured herself some, adding cream and sniffing it tentatively.

Letting herself taste a tiny bit, her eyes widened ands he spluttered it out, her eyes squinted in disgust. Of course, when they opened, the disgust was replaced with an apologetic sheepish look, as she stared at the coffee-clad student in front of her.

Ashlee walked into the Great Hall after her morning broom ride. She walked over to Lisa, still in her white capris and pale yellow sweater, and sat down. AJ grabbed some buttered toast and took a bite. She looked at the coffee covered student and started laughing. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at the young student. "Scourgify." The coffee began to clean itself off the student. She looked at Lisa still laughing. "Mornin'!"

Lisa, still looking quite horrified at what she had done, managed a slight smile in Ashlee's direction.

"Good morning... Though, it hasn't started off that well, has it?" She added, her eyes wandering to the formerly coffee-clad student, apologetically.

Ashlee giggled. "Remember, I only said 'Morning,' I didn't say whether it was good or not. It hasn't been that great for me either tho." She took another bite of her toast and poured herself some coffee. "I couldn't get to sleep last night." she said before taking a swig of the coffee.

Lisa looked at the coffee, making a face. Then, feeling her stomach grumble, she reached over the table for a fluffy scone. Much better than coffee, she thought sullenly.

Turning to Ashlee, Lisa stopped chewing her mouthful and strung out a few jumbled words. Swallowing, she blushed before restating her sentence, her mouth no longer full.

"You don't get nightmares, do you?" She asked, putting her scone down.

Ashlee nodded and put the coffee down. "Every once in a while. When i sense something is wrong mainly. Usually when i dream, they tell me what's wrong, but lately I've only gotten bits and peices and I can't put it together." She took another bite of her toast.

Lisa bit her lip, her eyes cast downwards. "I do as well, though mine are just the regular frightening sorts of things..." Then, looking at Ashlee straight in the eye, she leaned forward.

"You've been sort of gloomy lately," she said quietly, her eyes curious and worried. "Does it have to do with your dreams?"

Ashlee shrugged. "Most likely yeah, then there's something else too, but I don't wanna explain it quite yet." She siad with a smile.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa smiled back, "Understandable." She said, her arms reaching over the table once more as they gathered a handful of scones, effectively emptying the basket.

Then, looking at Ashlee, she gave her a sheepish look. "I'm...Hungry." She said, as if that explained her piggish behavior. "Want one?" She added, handing one of the many scones to her friend, dumping the rest on her plate.

Ashlee laughed. "No, I'm good." She held up her toast. "I don't eat much in the morning anyway." She put the toast on her plate and wiped her hands off.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa shrugged, a large smile on her face before she set her own scones down. Then with a laugh, she replied, "Well, as you can see, I eat tons."

[Ashlee Van Dort]

Ashlee laughed. "There's nothing wrong with that." She sipped her coffee again. "You'll usually find me pigging out at about Midnight. You know what? Maybe thats why I'm barely hungry in the morning." Ashlee giggled.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa grinned, before yawning. "Midnight snacks are nice," she said, pulling out her Transfiguration book.

"Need to read a bit more of this chapter," she explained setting the large book on the table with a thud.

Ashlee giggled. "Well I'll leave you to your reading," She picked up a chocolate chip muffin. "Besides..." She took a bite. "I've got somewhere to be." She started walking off. "Oh! If you need any help with your transfiguratioin... just come find me ok?" she smiled and left the great hall.

Lisa nodded appreciatively before turning the page of her book wearily. She felt a paper ball hit her behind her head and scowled, watching the Slytherin's snicker behind her. "If it weren't for these scones, I'd say this day was a horrible one." She said quietly to herself, rubbing the back of her head with a sigh.
