Kaden strolled into the fairly empty common room. He tossed his books onto the coffee table, watching them slide from one end to another with little interest. Brushing a hand through his short hair, he took a seat on the empty two-person couch, stretching out across it.

He sighed and mumbled inaudible nothings to himself as he twirled his dark-wooded wand in his hand, barely noticing the form appearing behind him.

Walking up the stairs from the girls dormitories Lauretta noticed a moving figure in the common room. "It's not much, but it's home, for now anyways" she said looking at the boy. "I'm Lauretta, but everyone calls me L.C feel free to join them in doing so." she stated holding out her hand.
