She sat snug in a big lush green armchair positioned by a large fire place in which a carving of a serpant greeted anyone passing by. This common room was a cold and quiet place. She felt a little uneasy being there and she wasn't too fond of the dying fire from which she desperately wanted warmth. She took out a thick blue book. It was mostly bare but on the front where there were two small and simple, silver symbols. She opened the book and began to read silently in hopes of escaping the world around her.

Silently slipping into the Common Room, Jerred made his way to his dorm room. But before he made it to the stairs, he looked over to the ailing fire and saw a 6th Year there. He wondered who it was, but she was reading. He shrugged and walked over to her.
"Hey there, I'm Jerred." he said, hoping not to be intruding her on time.

Alondra looked up at the too with her eyebrows raised. "I thought someone was there...." she joked. "I'm Alondra." she told Jerred. She had met Brian before at the lake. "So why exactly were you watching me?" She was a little worried about that.

"Interesting. I don't bite you know." she teased. "You didn't have to hide." She smiled a bit when he said he had been sleeping. She wondered why she didn't notice someone there in the first place.

She looked from Brian to Jerred interested in why they had started fighting. She didn't Jerred much but Brian seemed like a good person.
