Fin was taking a walk in the woods, very late at night; however, his vision was not dulled in the least, for above the slowly thickening trees, was a large full moon. As he made his way deeper into the woods, he noticed a strange fog appearing out of nowhere, causing him to be unable to see anything that was further than thirty feet or so away from him. Yet for some reason, he did not turn back, but continued his long, endless trek. After a while, as the fog continued to thicken, he could barely make out the trees around him. Suddenly, a long, spooky howl was heard, sending chills down his spine. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" he called, but there was no answer. He continued walking, and soon, the branches above him were starting to block out the full moon's light, making it almost impossible for him to see. Then, he heard deep growl, which resonated throughout the forest around him. He began to move faster, and as he moved, he had a strange feeling that he was being watched. Sometimes, he could even hear whatever was out there moving with him...following.
It happened so fast he didn't even have time to scream. Suddenly, it was on top of him, raking its long claws across his chest, causing a horrible, searing pain. "Ahhhhhhhhhh," Fin screamed, as the beast fitted its huge jaws easily around his neck. As the animal pulled away, a piece of Fin's jugular in it's mouth, he wondered how he was still alive. Then, in a flash, the beast was there no more, and in its place, was a boy, his mouth covered in blood, still hunched over on top of Fin's chest. Fin looked up to see who it was, but it was too dark and foggy. The only thing he could notice was that he was dressed in ragged, torn Hogwarts robes. Then, with another flash, the beast was on top of him once more. Fin had just enough time to scream, as the creature raised its gigantic claws, and-
Fin awoke in a cold sweat, panting as if he had just run the marathon. "What the hell was that?" he whispered to himself as he looked around, making sure he was still in his common room. "Get together man, it was just a dream. That's all man, just a dream," he said to himself as he laid back down again. It was then he noticed something bulky under his pillow. He lifted it, and looked in horror at the holly branch and cloth underneath.
