[CR: H] Ashlee's and Lisa's Dorm

[Ashlee Van Dort]

At the top of the stairs, you see an oak door bearing a star. You turn the door nob and walk into an enchanted room. The walls, at night, are a beautiful midnight blue with twinking stars with the silver moon on the ceiling casting a dim light. In the day, The walls turn a robin's egg blue with flowers and trees sprouting from the bottom of the wall. The sun replaces the moon, while soft white clouds glide on the ceiling. None of which are real, but mere paint.

Lisa opened the door, dropping her bag on the floor, panting. Her eyes caught sight of the magnificent room and she gasped, looking wildly around her. She turned to Ashlee, her gaze flickering past an array of fluffy clouds which floated gleefully across the wall.

"It's-It's..." She thought back to her old dorm, with it's boring four-poster beds and plain beige wall. "This is incredible!" She said, gaping.

Ashlee walked in after Lisa and laughed. "Thanks, my mother taught me the enchantment, that way I felt more at home. I have the same enchantment on my room back at the Manor."

AJ walked over to her bed and sat down smiling. "You can put your things anywhere, and I didn't know where you wanted your bed so I just had it put over there." she pointed to the wall opposite of her bed. "You can move it where ever you'd like. Doesn't bother me at all."

She looked at Lisa. "I must warn you about something tho. If you walk in here angry, the walls turn into a lightning slash thunderstorm. And if you walk in here sad, it starts to pour." AJ giggled. "Don't worry tho, Nothing gets ruined."

Lisa turned to Ashlee, the look of awe still on her face. "My bed is perfect where it is!" She said, running over to it and falling onto the mattress with a sigh.

"It's also nice that the room matches your mood... It makes it easier to brood on your problems," she said softly, a small smile on her face.

Ashlee smiled. "My mother came up with the enchantment. She has it in hers and my father's room back at home along with my room. I don't know why, but I like it. When I come in here and its all bright and sunny, it gives me even more of a reason to smile. You can't be sad over an incident for the rest of your life right?" She picked up a picture of her parents. "My mother always told me..." She gave her voice a slight perk as to imitate her mother's. "Ashlee Jade, whenever you find it pouring in her heart, remember our love and the rain will always stop."

Ashlee laughed. "Kinda cheesy, but she told me that before my first year here. I was so scared to leave home that even my mothers room was sad and gloomy."
