Algernon blushes, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, well... it's been an eventful week." He shrugs, tilting his head back up to the stars. "Just write whatever comes to you, I suppose."

Kim raised an eyebrow at the professor but decided not to say anything. She glanced down at the notepad and wrote, Edc y hela hekrd duhekrd. Edc dra settma uv fehdan yht edc lumtan eh dra tyo dryh ed ec eh dra ajahehk. Ruf cdnyhka. She finished and handed it to him. "Dont worry if you dont recognise it. Im not getting my hopes up anymore really"

Algernon took the notepad, examining it closely. He held it up close to his eyes. Then, rubbing his eyes, he pulled out his wand, whispering "Lumos.", and holding the glowing tip near the paper.

He sat wordlessly for a number of minutes, his eyes wide.

"This... this is centaur." He whispered, eyes glued to the words.

Kim sat there. Eyes wide open and her mouth was in an o shape. She knew it was kinda old, but, geez. She rubbed her head and looked from the words on the notepad to the professor. "Uhm.. Are you sure?" she asked. She didnt know why she asked but something inside her didnt really believe, ontop of everything else, she could speak centaur.

He looks back up at her, his excitement clearly evident. "Yes! Of course I'm sure, I've been staring a words just like this for months!" He pulls himself to his feel, not bothering to brush the grass from his robes. "Come on, come on, I'll show you my book." He takes a few agitated steps toward the castle, before turning and waiting for her.

Kim smiled and stood up. Finding the fact that grown ups could be easily amused well.. funny. He seemed excited anyway. Maybe he was looking for someone to help him?. "Well... you certainly seem happy about that" She laughed and walked towards him. "Right behind ya! Lead the way to the book!"
