For the first time in a while, Leigh was finally able to sit down, make himself a soothing cup of tea, which he left on brew for anyone else. He summoned forth several kinds of assorted buscuits, allowing him to pick and choose. He had chocolate cream, choc chip, raspberry jam filled. He was literally drooling for which one he could choose, he wanted them all.
That was until someone came into the staff room and joined him.

Algernon staggered into the staff room, covered in white dust and carrying with him an enormous book. He dropped it on a table, its crash causing the room to rattle disconsortingly. Shaking the dust out oh his eyes, he noticed Leigh. "Oh, er, Hallo Professor Addis!" He said, smiling somewhat guiltily.

"Hello, Algernoon." Leigh smiled, "If it isnt rude, may I ask what is wrong?" Leigh saw the large book, that had just crashed onto the table, almost knocking off the teapot and mugs.

Algernon ran a hand through his hair, a nervous habit of his, coloring his black hair with white streaks of dust, making him look a bit like a badger. "Not at all, not at all... Nothing's wrong as such, just looking for a place to delve into this beauty." he trailed his fingers through the dust on the book's cover lovingly. "I'd misplaced it, you see, after--" He paused, a slight blush rising in his face. "Well, I misplaced it. Never got to finish it." He wiped the dust off a section of the book, revealing a picture of a regal and very male centaur.

Leigh looked at the front cover of the book. Looking at it interestingly, Leigh saw that it was a beautiful looking picture of a male centaur. Leigh saw the strength, the passion and the desire in the picture to bring out the flawless pattern in it. He soon looked at Algernoon and smiled. "I know you're the Divination teacher, but are you... perhaps, anyway related to a Centaur? I'm asking this because you seem nervous, way more nervous than normal." Leigh asked. "I promise I will not let anyone else know if you are."

Algernon froze momentarily, sizeing Leigh up. Well... Out of the two things he was trying to hide, he supposed guessing that one was the lesser evil. And the other teacher certainly didn't seem to be preparing to charge at him with torches and pitforks... He relaxed slightly, smiling at Leigh cauciously. "As a matter of fact, yes. My grandfather." He gestured back to the book. "Centaurs don't write books often. Most of their stories and knowledge are passed down in stories... if I can translate this, who knows what we could learn about them, about divination even!" He grinned at Leigh, fully expecting him to share his enthusiasm.

Leigh sat back into the chair, crossed his arms. He smiled, knowing that he could trust Algernoon. "I realise that you can do it, as long as you put your mind to the task, and always strive to complete it." Leigh said, his voic calm. "When, not if, you translate that book, I believe you shall become the greatest Divination teacher that Hogwarts has ever seen, if not any school has ever seen." Leigh smiled, knowing that by giving wordsof encouragement, Algernoon will achieve it.

Just at that moment, Esmerelda came bursting into the room causing both of the men to jump. Humming a quiet tune as usual, she sat down in the vacant seat opposite Algernon and Leigh. She poured herself a cup of tea and put her feet up giving a relaxed sigh. She was just about to take a sip, when she noticed her two staff members giving her an odd look... almost a guilty look. 'What?' she asked innocently.
