I reckon Ridd needs something new to liven it up.

How about a new location? or locations?

For example, I know in the past that Diagon Alley has been asked for a few times.

Any thoughts?

Hows about homes for the adult members or something? Maybe a new town with clubs and pubs and all nightly fun. Or a theme park.. I dunno, just ballooning again

Greenhouses or general grounds would be cool. Just so all the outside threads aren't piled at the lake?

Adult members as in like members who are really adults in real life or just those that have characters that are "adults" thought their not really in real life?

Trust me, half the stuff that happens in nightclubs isn't exactly Under 18 themed... Maybe you could password the board and/or subboards, Gail, and those that ARE over 18 in real have a password sent to one of their accounts. It does make some sense, lol, though it is up to Ruby ().

If we did have night clubs i think i'd agree with you that the board would have to be passworded for people 18+ because.. well yeah.. not all appropriate. Though try and keep it... well... appropriateish. It would give the adult characters and their players who are 18+ something else to do. And i know my character when he's old enough would LOVE a club. Much like the person who plays him

Yeah I agree that adult characters could do with somewhere to hang out. A nightclub isn't particularly something I would want on the site though. Hmmm. Perhaps theres a different sort of place the adults could have? I'll have a think.

And its also very true about the lake being bombarded with the outside posts. I definately think we could do with another outside place.

Something else that has been suggested to me:

The option to be an Azkaban escapee or prisoner.

I thought it was a great idea because then if we had like murderers and things on the site we could get rid of extra characters that no one plays anymore. You could even have a funeral service for the characters that are killed off so that everyone knows which characters have died. Some people could become ghosts and things too. I thought it would also be a cool idea to have like Azkaban as a chat area to the inmates can role play with each other. You could have people apply to be dementor guards and everything.

Any thoughts?

I think I am going to revive this thread a little bit:

- A thought up Child school for kiddos who are not old enough to go to Hog'.
- A village where your adults can ask by a thread for a house

That's how far I got now. And yes Azkaban is a good idea.

And what about maybe having a forum called The Grounds for another outside location? It's not the lake, or the Forbidden Forest. I really like your thoughts about a place where adults can RP without having to be SO PG-13 about it. Not to say it would be ok to just go crazy, but maybe making it NC-17. Diagon Alley is a blast, and you could have members or Mods running the shops. That would start some great threads around Christmas time when people can go shopping for presents. I also really like the idea about being inmates in Azkaban! Maybe even having trials for people who have broken the law, and have them being sentenced and stuff. That would be awesome.
