Being an early bird for once had it's advantages. Boggleworth had arisen before dawn, creeping silently out of the Hufflepuff common room, dodging the creaky floorboards had become easy by now. As soon as he stepped into the corridor he was greeted by a rather nice poster. Grinning happily as he scanned the poster he smirked and murmered "well what have I got to loose? Only my life, tain't worth much," he scrawled his name on a piece of parchment from his bag and began to scribble down why he thought he could reasonably be a Hufflepuff champion. Boggleworth Why should I be a champion? because I'm the only one crazy enough! I am a well respected member of this school community, no hint of a lie or sarcasm, I am not brave, so I won't be too foolish, but most improtantly I have sheer determination to do as well as I can do, I would love to have a go at this farce, in conclusion this role is perfect for me, tailored, admittedly by a somewhat short sighted person, and now I'm running out of parchment, I can speak French, which is always useful, Boggleworth finished scribbling and babbling, ah well, like that's going to get me in...meh, he thought as he continued his duties
(ooc well, to put it simply and nice and short- I'm very active and would just love to be a major part of this plot! Come on Bog would be really funny doing this, I would also be fair and not write anything which is un-realistic. But that's enough of me babbling away)

I'm strong and I like to be put up to the test, I'm also brave and can be put up to anything. I would like you to know that I can be sneaky, but I can also be very bold. I think that I deserve this because in whatever I do I never quit. This tournament is to test your strength, agility, intelegence, and so much more. I am the best choice.
This is what L.C scribbled on a poster-sign up. Examining it shethought it looked good and decided she wouldn't add anymore. She then ran off to the library.

Instead of entering my own name I would like to nominate: Keifer Brently Seventh year for the Ravenclaw champion. He's quite the bostrous personality if you get to know him and I think he would do great in the competition. Sincerly, Helia Ollivander
She stood back and smiled at her scrawl across the poster, then scurried back to classes.

Post by Girty Hubbles on Sept 21, 2006 19:12:48 GMT
Girty walked down the dorm steps into the Hufflepuff common room and out into he corridor. She blinked a few times when she saw all the posters then giggled to herself. As she moved closer to have a better inspection she noticed handwriting on the sign-up parchment. "Bog" she started to giggle even more and pulled out a quill. underneath all his writing she drew a large arrow and started another pargargh.
Dear who-ever this may concern. As a Hufflepuff i believe that if Bog becomes champion it will be bad...very bad. What if something happens. Just image the amount of crying that will happen due to the many friends he has. However he would do a good job ect.. ect.. but then he will win easily so what would be the point. You need an underdog. Someone who will surprise everyone. Simply to make it more fun. Make it a competion...some one like me! Yes i Girty Hubbles. Proud Hufflepuff.....not the best witch in the world but willing.
She stepped back and looked at it. She shrugged and put her quill back. "You never know it might help me get the reserve slot" she giggled again and skipped off for breakfast.

Jerred walked up to the sheet of paper and noticed it. With a scowl he scribbled down whom he wanted and why.
Name: Zachary Danials Reason: Zachary is just a strong willed kind of guy, willing to do whatever is necessary to win and achieve his goals. He's one of the stronger, mature and well rounded Slytherins, despite him lacking and love for other houses. He's give it his all, I know that and without hesitation as well. That's why I want Zachary.
Jerred finished writing and looked at the poster and with a snort he turned and walked away.

I know he isn't in my house (and because I'm not willing to choose between Matt and Liz) I nominate Zachary Daniels!!!
Why? Because he is the best RPer on this site, and because Zachary is such a determined, conniving, cunning, sneaky little guy. =) I think he represents the general Slytherin population, and I'm sure he'd put his all into rubbing it in Thom's face that he is a champion and Thom is not. xD
Goooo Daniels![/font]

Jac had noticed the unusual hubbub all morning and had seen the posters but, due to the large groups congregate around each of them, she was unable to reach one. She had been walking around trying to find a vacant poster.
Finally she reached on and read it through quickly. "Hmm," she muttered to herself, "why not!" She pulled out a quill out of her rucksack and began to write.
Name:Jac Biggerstall Year & House: 7th Gryffindor Reason: I am gutsy, when I puts my mind to it, and can handle difficult situations well. It's not hard to be able to handle pain but heck, I can do that well too. Cunning and brave, jet calculating and full hardy. Full of vitality and willing to do anything. Challenge me and I can do it! ((OOC: I'm active & imaginative, but not over the top (which I guess, is good).))
Jac stood back and packed away her quill. She was about to read what she had written when a loud gaggle of girls came around the corner and headed straight towards her. She quickly put her bag at her back and walked away.

A long week had gone by as busy as ever, Boggleworth stepped out of the Hufflepuff common room and sighed a weary sigh, he was extremly busy as Head Boy being just one of his concerns (ooc that goes for me too!) The quadwizard tournament poster caught his eye and he read quickly sighing even heavier as he read Girty's words, she thinks too highly of me, but at least she's still going for it. He scrawled underneath Boggleworth partly because Girty is now going for Hufflepuff Champion I would like to retract my wishing to be Champion, I no longer think I am suitable and would like to give Girty this amazing opportunity. Also I've so much work being Head Boy too. So take me from the list or whatever, (ooc well I'm now no longer as active as I once was and would much prefer for Liz to be the Hufflepuff Champion, as she writes far better than me, also I think Zachary Daniels for Slytherin Jac Biggerstall for Gryffindor Keifer Brently for Ravenclaw. Well there's my thoughts for you, so where's my penny? (for my thoughts in case nobody got that) good luck to whoever the champions are!)

Name: Thom Moen Year: ...8th. ¬.¬ Reason: Because Thom is blatantly the greatest Hufflepuff male in history, and can be relied upon to deliver an explosive performance if choosen to be Hufflepuff Champion - not forgetting the complimentary comic relief that would thrown in when going head to head against Zachary Daniels. =P He would also create an excellent fanbase, seeing as how amazingly cunning, charming and cute he is.
