Fin stud up once again, in reply to his friend's words. "Must you and Addis always speak for everybody? The reason she came to the students was to be honest with us. That means she's someone we can trust, can't you see that? Look, the Minister came to this place to help solve a problem. The least we could do is not argue against her. She's here with our best interest at heart, or would you like someone else to be murdered Boggsy?"

Boggleworth chuckled and yet grimaced as well "that's exactly what she wants you to think, believe me I want no more murders, but why would the ministry suddenly make such a huge difference? I do not wish to argue, I'd much rather just get along, but do you not see the threats?' He addressed to the Ravenclaw.

Leigh smiled a confident and crooked smile. 'Threaten my freedom? I have done nothing wrong but simply speak my opinion and since when has that been against the laws of freedom? Wait... until you Ministry dragon dung creeps came here and spoke out. I expect you wanted some resistance, but as my student from Hufflepuff has done he has sided with me as he can clearly see the truth behind the damned scheme you and you... consorts... are planning.' Leigh spoke out loud again, a sudden rise in his confidence showing through the dim glimmer he was just before. 'You threaten my job, my livelihood, my very state of being and I see that as a threat to this very educational institute. You dare threaten a Professor of Hogwarts and you threaten all of them, my dear Minister of the Ministry.'
Leigh narrowed his eyes as he stared at the Minister, challenging her authority with his very being. 'Hogwarts is a safehouse for enemies of the Ministry? Does that sort of paranoia grow over a long period or just overnight? Because I find it terribly funny that you believe there are enemies of your beloved Ministry here. I have no love for the Ministry, let that be known to all, but I am in no way an enemy of the Ministry, if I was I would have killed you and your consorts before you opened your mouths to speak, do you understand that? If there are enemies of the Ministry here, don't you think your presence here would've lead to your untimely deaths, or would your grissly murders bring more on your kind of wizards... and witches... here?' Leigh continued, putting emphasis of witches, but rather not the standard meaning of the word.
'I believe it would, then your murders would be be connected with a certain Professor who voiced his views openly, and not in private.' Leigh continued on, glancing over his shoulder at one of the Ministers consorts, an auror judging by the tame way he was controlling himself. Returning his attention to the Minister, Leigh had to laugh loudly. 'What authority do you have here? You're nothing but a newcomer to the ways and traditions of Hogwarts, and that is obvious in your demeanour when you first barged in through those doors and opened your pathetic old, wrinkly smelly mouth. Mind you, old womens breath can't even be challenged with a simple mint... You have heard of mints, Minister?'
The last sentence came out as a jest, nothing was more enthralling for someone to create a jest at the expense of a Ministry Official. Leigh raised his hands to the side, palms calmly facing the ceiling. 'No wand, no threat, but I promise you this, Minister,' Leigh continued on one last time, 'The more you threaten me or anyone else either with their lives, their jobs or their school position here, you'll live to regret it, so will the Ministry regret sending you here.' Leigh spoke menacingly, not caring whatever way the minister took it, for he could care less about the old witches life.

"Mr Addis you say too much. If you expected me to listen and take heed of anything that just spewed from your mouth you are dreadfully mistaken." Illyana was speaking calmly and quietly. Her inner anger bubbling away. "My prescence here has been permitted by the Headmaster, I sent by the highest authority in the land, and needless to say I answer, when it comes to questions of where and when I should carry out my duty, to no-one but myself. I don't need to remind you of the levels of beurocracy in the world do you? I would hate to remind you of the people you must get authorisiation from to wipe your own bottom. No, i think you need no reminder ofthat fact. Nor need I remind you that I do have all the authority I need in this place. Any arrests made by my department are irrefutable, any charge -definate, and any sentence -unalterable. When it comes to matters of law my dear man there are none who may question me. So think again before trying your luck. I will give you no further warning." "Mr Boggleworth do not think i have forgotten you. Not at all, however you are not worth wasting my present time over. You will go to my office and wait for me there." Illyana smiled at all present in the hall. Bowed softly and said: "Thank you all for you patience. If anyone else would like to speak with me privatly my door is always open. My aids will stay behind here to deal with any further problems. Farewell!" And with that she turned and marched out of the hall her high healed feet clomping on the hard floor.

Seeing the Minister leave and heeding her words Boggleworth took leave of his companions and strode from the hall. In theory he should have been worried but he wasn't overly concerned, what was the worst that could happen? Anything that did go wrong could be blamed on the Ministry so either way he won. Thoughts still rushed through Boggleworth's head wondering whether he had really done the right thing, but he had started now, so he may as well try to finish it. Going directly to the Minister's office he left the hall to whatever would befall the students there...
(ooc are you going to start a thread in her office then? Boggleworth can follow her in perhaps for the severe talking to)

Leigh's eyes grew dark, his smile not vanishing. 'Headmaster...' Leigh whispered, watching the old witch walk out of the hall.
Out of fear she came here by, manipulative she is by the way she speaks and her choice of words. Typical Ministry know-it-all. Leigh thought to himself, not even caring if any person was reading his mind.

Vandesar watched attentively over his shoulder as Illyana left the Great Hall, declaring that he and Michael were to remain. He desired to go with her, finding the presence of so many tense young minds highly frustrating. For all his skills and special training, the Unspeakable certainly could not handle this.
A few months ago he had come here to investigate Hogwart's mysterious Charms professor - but now he was to wander and observe like a mere security guard? He was not appreciative of his new role, even if it did have a deeper purpose behind it.
Further up the room he could see Michael standing behind Professor Addis. He glared at them both, full of loath for the Hufflepuff head of house, a house he believed had always produced simply pathetic Ministry members. He was also highly suspicious of Michael as of late. The other man had been rather closed lip about the whole situation.
Silently bubbling with rage, Vandesar moved to the nearest corner, leaning against the wall, his eyes daring anyone to challenge him.

Fin followed closely behind his old friend. "Hey, I'm comin' to see the Minister with ya, cool?" He said, not even waiting for a responce.

Noticing that the man standing behind the Ministry official was still there, his eyes showing something similar to hate, Leigh had to smile at the thought of him being a simple lackey. It was then that Leigh noticed the look the man gave him, an intense look of high dislike. With a shrug, Leigh turned towards the door leading to a small corridor heading towards his office. With nothing more to do here, the quiet of the room once again becoming a room full of whispers, Leigh left the Great Hall.
His ears picked up the sounds of the students, the words they said, their fear of having the old witch here. It was then, on his way out of the Great Hall, he knew what had to be done.
