Caroline walked into the empty classroom, carrying her guitar, some music books, and her stand. She set up her stand in the front of the room, conjured a stool out of midair, and directed it to her stand. With that out of the way, she turned towards the desk, and leaned her guitar against it. She added some personal touches to the room, such as changing the wall colors to burgundy red, and adding black music notes all around the room, then she turned to the blackboard and in rather large script, wrote her name. Professor Caroline Greco- Music Teacher. She stepped back and surveyed her work with a smile, but there was something missing... she thought then realized what she forgot, and quickly arranged the desks into a cozy semi-circle. There! Much better! She perched on her desk with a smile and waited for her first class to arrive. She was so excited to be a teacher. And at Hogwarts of all places!

((OOC; Could there be a piano in the room already?))
Emily walked into the classroom, suprised to see she was the first there. She was usually late for things, despite her wrist watch that she wore at all times. In her book bag was some piano sheet music. She was a bit rusty, but thought she might as well give it a go.
"Hello Professor, I'm Emily Leets. I've played the piano before, you wouldn't mind..." she didn't really find the right words.
"You wouldn't mind me using it this lesson? If we're playing anything, that is."
Emily quickly took a seat in the semi-circle.

((yeah, there is. forgot to mention that. sorry))
Caroline smiled at the newcomer. "Good morning miss. Please, feel free to use the piano any time you wish. Welcome to music class. I'm Professor Caroline Greco, but you may call me Caroline or Cary if you wish."

Rakki poked her head into the classroom and looked around. It was fairly empty--save for two people--and, well, quiet. She disappeared back into the hall for a second before shifting her grip on her violin case and slippinging in. Edging around silently, Rakki took a seat furthest to the corner and slunk down, hoping she went unnoticed by the other two.

Caroline noticed a young girl, a Slytherin by the looks of it, attempt to slip in unnoticed. "Well hello miss." she greeted the student. "Welcome to music class. I'm Professor Caroline Greco, but if you wish you may call me Caroline or Cary."

Em hadn't seen Rakki come in, as she was busy looking for something in her book bag. She didn't notice until the Professor greeted her. Looking up, the Ravenclaw waved at her. She had met Rakki before at the Lake. Maybe now she'd get to hear her play.

Rakki smiled weakly and gave the professor a small wave. Lord knows what possessed her to take a random class but she thought it would be a nice change.

Caroline smiled at the young Slytherin, who seemed to be a bit uncomfortable. "So, what brings you two to music class?" she asked, trying to get a conversation going.

Rakki returned the wave to Emily and gave her a smile. "I heard somewhere that it would be fun." Rakki said simply, shrugging her shoulders.

Caroline smiled at the young girl. "Well I certainly hope you do enjoy yourself, Ms...?" She paused to give the student a chance to introduce herself.

Emily shrugged.
'It's a bit muggle of me,' she said with a grin. 'But I used to play all the time, before Hogwarts."

"Rakki." She said simply, shrugging her shoulder once again. She wasn't to keen on talking a lot.

"Well, I hope you enjoy yourself Ms. Graveston, and I sincerely hope that you come back to music class next year." She inclined her head towards the student with a smile, then looked around, eager to start the lesson. "Is this all the students we will be having today? I must say, I'm a bit dissapointed, ah well, no use crying over a spilt potion, onto the lesson." She turned towards Rakki once more and asked her the first questin that pertained to the lesson, "Ms. Graveston, you seem to have some knowledge of musical history, our composer for the day is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, now what can you tell me about Mozart? And don't be dissapointed if you get something wrong, remeber, you're here to learn."

Why was it that everyone assumed that because she was the quiet one she was always smart? Rakki looked up for a second, thinking of an answer about the composer--she never really cared much about their lives--before answering. "He was a prodigy and was playing the piano at four, I think."

Caroline smiled, "Very good Ms. Graveston, you seem to know quite a bit about composers." She then turned to the other girl, "Would you like to add anything to Ms.Graveston's explanation?"
