[3 Broomsticks]Needing to think ((Open to anyone))

Erin, who had had it with the rest of the students, decided she needed some alone time and headed to the Three Broomsticks for some drinks. She smiled as she walked in and sat in the far corner of the pub. Erin ordered a butterbeer from a waitress who had approached her and in minutes, her drink had arrived. She sighed as she sipped her butterbeer in silence, closing her eyes.

Erin enjoyed the silence, it gave her time to think about everything on her mind. Zachary flashed into her mind and her eyes opened immediatly. She shook her head, releiving her mind of his image and stared into the cup, watching the liquid twirl around.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer walked into the three broomsticks, giving up a little of hope that Jessie would open his shop and solve his hairspray problem. Unfortunatly, that wasnt going to happen any time soon.

Going to the bar he waited for someone. Whilst waiting he looked around and noticed Erin, the girl he met by the lake sitting on her own. When he had ordered his drink and got it he walked over to her, looking down he smiled, "Mind if i join you?"

Erin jumped and looked up, seeing it was the ravenclaw boy she had met before, Erin gave a sigh of relief and laughed. She shook her head. "Go right ahead." Erin sat up straight and looked at him. "What is it with guys?" she asked randomly. "I mean..." She looked down. "Hell, I don't know what I mean." She gave an embarassed laugh. "Sorry, I think the humidity has gotten to me."

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer sat down and looked at Erin. He took a sip of his drink before trying to decipher what she meant. "Whats what with guys?" He asked. He looked out of the window quickly before looking back at her "You alright?"

Erin looked at Keifer. "Yeah I'm fine." She said before looking at her drink. She stared at it debating whether she should drink it or set it down. After feeling stupid for holding her drink up for so long she took a gulp and set the cup on the table. "Ok fine... so I'm not, but what kind of person is when they like someone. I mean... come on! Usually I'd be insulting you and telling you to sod off because you're not a slytherin..." She looked at him. "... but I'm not. I'm talking to you and telling you stupid things that I can't beleive are still coming out of my mouth." She placed a palm on her forehead. "I must be ill..." She sighed. "I need my brother......" She laid her head on the table.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer sat there and let her talk. He listened for a while before speaking. "Well... Its not your fault if you like someone, just means your human" He said to her, not sure whether he was making this better or worse. "Im not a bad guy you know, which is probably why most slytherins dont like me come to think of it..." He mumbled before taking a sip of his drink. He looked at the top of her head as she put it on the table, not sure what to do he sat there in silence.

Erin picked her head up and looked at Keifer. "Zachary Daniels..." She sighed. "That's who I like." She looked out the window and laughed. "It's actually kinda funny tho..." She looked back at him. "Oh well... you can't choose who you like." She took another sip of her drink and ran a hand through her hair. "So what brought you here?" she asked in attempt to change the subject.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer knew who he was but decided to say nothing on the subject. Looking down into his drink he watched as the liquid swirled around the glass. "What brought me here? Well i went to te taste of ink to buy some stuff, annoyidly Jez hasnt opened the shop yet so i gave up and came here for a drink"

Erin sighed. "Seems reasonable." She gave a small laugh. Erin looked at Keifer then down at her drink. She sat there in silence, not knowing what to say next. She hoped he would say something or that someone else might join.

Keifer looked up at the ceiling and kept trying to think of ways to make her laugh "One potato two potato... Three.. and a four" He looked at her and smiled "Dont ask what im doing cause i dont know"

Erin started laughing, which had tremendously lifted her spirits. She ran her hand through her hair again, with a smile. "There's nothing wrong with being a good guy Keifer, its us Slytherin's that don't take anytime to get to know the unfamiliar." She shrugged. "We like to stick to our own, if you know what I mean."

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer smiled as Erin started laughing and he knew all too well that Slytherins liked to stick to their own. He liked the familiar, but he also liked to explore the unfamiliar. "Yeah i know what you mean"

Erin sighed. "I've only just started to actually try to know people. I doubt Moen and I will ever agree on anything but then again, he's almost as stubborn as I am." She looked at Keifer. "You're pretty cool tho, for a Ravenclaw." Erin said the last part with a smile.

[Keifer Brently]

"A lot of people say that about him... I dont see it really, but then again... I usually agree rather than argue... I wont backdown, he wont... so it'll be a never ending argument... I think ive only met three slytherins, one who will hit me the next time he comes in contact with me... One who has vanished off the face of the earth and you... Oh no wait.. Zach... Yeah i vaguely remember meeting him." He laughed, realising his drink had gone he looked at Erin "Want another?" He asked

Erin laughed. "Yeah, I could use another I suppose." Erin who was starting to get annoyed by her hair, pulled it back into a pony. "Did you ever realize how a place could change someone?" she asked Keifer before he got up.
