[Hogsmeade] A walk -open-

[Mike Swan]

Mike walked down into Hogsmeade. It was a cool day and the breeze was flowing freely in his hair. Mike smiled to himself as everything seemed to be going alright. He hadnt gotten into any arguments yet, or into any kind of fight, which was good. Though, saying that, he hadnt met anyone to have an argument with... Mike wasnt a quiet guy, he spoke his mind whether it got him into trouble or not. You could always count on him trying to cheer you up or to just do something that was completley stupid. He had a tendancy for rule breaking, but being in a new school, he had already decided he wasnt going to... yet.

Mike walked with his hands in his coat pockets, down the street of Hogsmeade. He seemed content with himself as he walked with a smile on his face. He didnt even know what he was smiling at, he just was. Mike had a really bad urge to just laugh, but the place was crammed with people and he'd just look crazy. Instead he leant against a wall and watched everyone else.

<sup>Tori was in a hurry and did her best to not run into anyone. She tried to steer clear of everyone but found it terribly difficult. She dogded a very chatty Gryffindor girl and suprisingly missed the clumsy Hufflepuff. She thought she was almost there and looked behind her. Before she knew it, Tori walked straight into a wall, along with the boy standing against it.

Tori flew back and landed on her backside. With an embarassed laugh, she struggled to stand up, only finding it to be more embrassing that her bookbag, which happened to weigh twice her size, was keeping her from finding any real balance. "Ow," she said as she managed to get to her knees, "Never thought I'd be the clumsy one," she said chuckling to herself.

Tori looked at the boy with an apologetic look, "Are you ok?" she asked him.</sup>[/color]

[Mike Swan]

Mike was watching everyone go past, but he wasnt giving them much attention, he found himself stuck in his own mind. A smile on his face that didnt seem to budge. He took his hands out of his pockets and looked down at the floor.

Mike was forced out of his thoughts as he felt something collide with him. He looked around but didnt see anyone until he looked down, smiling he watched as she tried to get up but only managed to get to her feet. "Were all clumsy sometimes" He said, knowing the clumsy feeling all too well. Mike smiled at her "Yeah im fine, im not the one on the floor. Are you okay?" He asked outstrecthing his hand to help her up.

<sup>Tori willingly took the boy's hand as she stood up. She looked around to make sure she hadn't dropped anything, "Yeah, I'm fine. All body parts are in contact," she said, looking back at the boy with a smile, "And, as far as I know, nothing seems to be broken," Tori stated as she took her bookbag off and set it on the ground.

Tori sighed, as if a great burden was taken off her shoulders, but of course, it wasn't a burden... just a bookbag full of uncompleted assignments she had yet to do.

"My name's Victoria, people mostly call me Tori, though," she said in a friendly tone. "I'm very sorry I ran into you, well, actually I'm more sorry for the wall. The poor things ancient," she said with humor in her voice. "You sure you're alright?" she asked.</sup>[/color]

Mike let go of her hand when he was sure she was steady on her feet. He laughed at her statement before saying "At least nothing is broken, thats good" He smiled again and put his hand to his mouth and tried to pull down the corners of it. "Sorry, i just cant stop smiling, its annoying me" He laughed again.

Mike listened to her introduce herself. He looked around and watched again as the hustle of students began to push past him again. He frowned a bit as a smaller boy than himself pushed into him before replacing it with a smile. "Im sure im fine" Mike spoke and looked at him again. "Im Michael, but i prefer Mike or Mikey" He looked at the wall and poked it, it did feel ancient aswell but he didnt pass a comment on it.

<sup>Tori smiled, "Well Mike, it's nice to meet you," Tori looked around quickly than back at Mike. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you doing here?" Tori hoped that the question wouldn't be offensive or make her seem nosy.

After realizing what she asked, Tori looked down, ashamed of herself. "I'm sorry," she said looking back up, "It's really none of my business." She gave an embarassed giggle then sighed and looked away.</sup>[/color]

"Same to you Tori" Mike smiled. He looked at her and frowned slightly at the question, he answered it anyway. "Just taking a look around. Not really doing anything." He smiled at her. He looked back out to the crowds and waited for a moment. "No, its okay." He smiled and laughed slightly at her.

<sup>Tori frowned, "I don't know why I do that. Sometimes I just blurt things out without thinking. My mother would pretty much kill me if I did that to her," Tori ran a hand through her hair as she tried not to remember her past.

"Oh well," she said shrugging it off, "Is there anywhere in particular you wanted to go? I could show you around a bit, though I must admit, I don't completly know my way around yet. I still find myself lost in random shops," Tori laughed. "There is a place I do recomend, it's this club called... well Club Castle."</sup>[/color]

[Mike Swan]

Mike laughed "Its alright.. I do that a lot too, though i just think its speaking your mind personally" He didnt pursue the matter of why her mother would kill her, instead he left it. He smiled at her anyway. "And i keep smiling..." He mumbled to himself.

"I didnt have any place in mind, though i dont really know anyplace around here anyway apart from this wall..." He brushed his hand through his hair and looked down at the floor. "The club castle?" He asked, wondering what that was. He hadnt ever heard of it before. He shrugged and said, "Sure, im up for it. Lead the way Miss"

<sup>Tori giggled and her eyes lit up, "Certainly," she said grabbing his hand... hoping it wouldn't phase him, she just didn't want him to get lost in the swarms of students and other witches and wizards.

Tori looked back at him, "What I said before, about my mother killing me, I didn't mean it quite like that... she just thinks its improper for a women to speak out of turn or to speak at all... at least thats what I've come to beleive," Tori laughed as she gently pulled his arm, leading the way, to where she hoped Club Castle was. Tori knew where she was going, everything just looked different in the day light</sup>[/color]

Mike wasnt expecting her to take hold of his hand and was a little shocked by it. He kept hold of it anyway as she guided him through the crowds. He didnt have a clue where he was going or even what the club castle was but she seemed to know so that was fine by him.

Mike nodded at her, showing he understood what she meant. It came across to him like her mother wanted Tori to be a proper lady. Mike just felt bemused by that, he had never come across a proper lady before and felt like if he ever did he'd end up laughing at them. He felt her pull him and hurried up so he was walking next to her, still holding her hand. "So... what is this... club castle or whatever the things called?"

<sup>Tori smiled at him, she knew they were close by. She giggled as she answered his question, "It's pretty much exactly as the name says, a club. It's pretty full at night but during the day, there's hardly anyone there. I still think you should at least see where it is," she added as she turned a corner.

Tori stopped infront of a building. Music could be heard playing inside. Tori sqeezed Mike's hand before letting it go. She turned walked a few steps infront of him and turned around, "THIS... this is Club Castle."

Tori looked back at it and shrugged, "It doesn't seem that great during the day," she said, "But it's still a pretty cool hangout."

Tori looked back at Mike, "Maybe I'll bring you back at night, when all the fun is actually going on," she said smiling, slight humor in her voice.</sup>[/color]

Mike kept looking around seeing if he could spot the club but after a while he gave up. Mike liked clubs, it was an excuse to go out and have some fun. "I guess it could be useful to know where it actually is" Mike smiled, his eyes scanning around him.

When they turned the corner, Mike could hear the music clearly playing away inside the building. He looked at it for a minute before he heard Tori speak. He felt her squeeze his hand and let it go, Mike let it drop to his side before looking back at her and smiling.

He looked back up at the building and agreed that it didnt seem great. But clubs never did in the day, they were always better at night. "Clubs are usually better at night" He said, more or less quoting his own mind.

Mike looked back to Tori when she said she might bring him back at night and smiled at her again. "I'll look forward to it. So... we going in then?"

<sup>Tori shrugged and gave a small frown, "I'm afraid Club Castle is the only place I know personally here in Hogsmeade," Tori said, disapointment in her voice.

She smiled at him, "But, I guess if you have anywhere you'd like to go, I'm sure I could find it. I mean, it's not that hard to find the shops here. Besides, maybe I'll learn new things as well," Tori said, giving Mike a faint wink.

Tori laughed then looked around at her surroundings for a moment. She ran a hand through her messy hair and sighed, "You hungry?" she asked Mike, "Or thirsty?" she added.</sup>[/color]

"Well you know more places around here than I do" Mike pointed out. Which was true, this was the first time he had ever been here and this was the first place he'd seen and could possibly find again if he tried. Mike heard the dissapointment in Tori's voice, walking over to her he put an arm around her and smiled, "Well we can explore together and find some other places" He said with a bounce in his voice.

He let go of Tori and looked back up at the castle, it did seem interesting to go in there, but he remembered what Tori said and decided he'd come back at night. "Im sure we can find something to do or somewhere to go" Mike said, "I guess it is possible to learn new things" He smiled.

"Actually... I am thirsty now I think about it" Mike spoke, answering her question. He looked around for a minute and then asked Tori, "So, where to first?"
