Shocked that he had been staring at Kim way to much Dax panic and started to stutter.
“No…I was just….well...you see…it seems to me that …erm…you…seem rather…young to be out of school.”
Dax’s face had turned bright red and he kept his gaze looking forward not wanting to embarrasses himself anymore. His heart started to beat faster as nervous started to take over. Even walking started to become difficult with every other step turning into a stumble or scuffing his feet along the ground.
Trying to regain his composure Dax took a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair.
“Sorry.” He mumbled

Kim stiffled a laugh as she listened to him. "I am rather young to be out of school" she told him, "Im only a sixth year" Kim said But ive probably been through a lot more than most people my age she thought. "I dropped school of my own will about a year and a half ago, i think.... Yeah pretty sure, halfway through term one. Things happened and I had to leave for a bit and I went travelling" She told him, at least it was making some kind of conversation "I hadnt intended to come back but... as things panned out, i ended up coming back..." She smiled as she walked, "And thats the story of Kim"

Glancing over at Kim, Dax gave a small chuckle. I thought about her story and although it was indeed very sad that something had happened to force her to leave he could not help but laugh. Trying to regain his composure Dax gave a small cough to clear his throat.
“Wow. A lot of things have happened to you already in life. I’m rather jealous the most I have done in my 7 years at Hogwarts is have a duel in the Great Hall and go swimming in the lake. I know who you should talk to. My friend Girty. She is a year younger then you but you both seem to have adventures, I’m sure you could find a lot to talk about.”
With yet another chuckle Dax put his hands in his pockets and started to whistle to himself. This walk was making him feel a lot better and Kim….well she is not half bad.

"Yeah and its nothing to be jelous of trust me" She said, it wasnt anything to be jelous of, nothing that she had put herself and her friends through was. "Sounds like a nice gesture and all, but i dont wanna talk to anyone about the past, i like it to be left there"
Kim carried on walking, she wasnt really paying that much attention to her surroundings anymore, more to herself.
